Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. There's a double bedroom upstairs and comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, free private parking, and we include a wee breakfast as well. Just redecorated with a new super comfy hotel standard bed! Large one bedroom in an old school building that has been converted to flats. New bathroom and kitchen just fitted and a big bright comfy bed room with lots of storage. There is fire stick and an Eames chair to relax on. Situated in Partick a short walk takes you to Byers Road or Hyndland. Great transport links with the Tube or Clydeside Expressway. Stretch out and snuggle on the corner sofa after a wonderful day of exploring and enjoy the beautiful natural light from a classic top floor tenement bay window. Explore a more local part of the West End of the city with great individual eateries and shops on quiet streets leading to the Botanic Gardens and the River Kelvin. See our original artworks and books gathered over many years coupled with natural oak and stone flooring create a very restful and pleasant atmosphere for your stay.

Argyll Retreat by Lock Eck. Argyll Forest Park.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Milngavie Garden Cottage

A self-contained studio apartment with separate access from the main house giving total privacy for guests. Perfect for people starting their journey on The West Highland Way, or for those looking for a relaxing trip. The property is roughly a 15 minute walk from Milngavie train station/ transportation can be provided if required. Country environment but also a very accessible place as trains go directly to the centre of Glasgow and Edinburgh from here.A travel cot is available .

An ideal bright and airy 2 bedroom upper apartment, with separate lounge. There is a small kitchen, with 2 ring stove, electric oven, fridge freezer, grill/ toasting machine etc . . The apartment is 5 mins walk to the beach/promenade, and a ten min walk to town centre. The surrounding area has great opportunities for hill walking / outdoor pursuits. Provided also are tea, coffee, sugar, milk. The flat is deep cleaned and sanitized in between each stay.

This apartment in tastefully decorated, situated in a residential area, walking distance to Kirn Victorian promenade and all local amenities.close by local activities include golfing, pony trekking,fishing ,hill climbing,and many more to explore. Since Covid 19 regulations I hire a local company to sanitise my apartment by fogging it kills 99,5% of all bacteria including Covid no harmful fumes or residue left. My priority is to protect my guests.

Country village cottage.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

Cabin in the Wild

We built the cabin to a high specification, it is in the middle of the forest with incredible views down to the loch, a burn running close to the front door and all the hill walking and wildlife around you that you would expect in Scotland. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, living/dining room. Perfect for nature lovers, hillwalkers and anyone looking for a space to decompress and disconnect for a while.
