Monthly Rentals in Dunnamaggin

We spent a long weekend in Bernie’s celebrating a significant birthday. Three generations of family together & Bernie’s ticked all the boxes in terms of comfort & rest. Our granddaughter loved the outdoors, the treehouse, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, the games room, the animals. We got a taxi to Killkenny for dinner one evening but otherwise self catered & the kitchen is very well equipped. And we had excellent pizzas done on the bbq. Windgap is a very peaceful rural area & perfect place to getaway. I would recommend it highly.

It was a pleasure to stay at the cottage Ballyhale. Very cosy and peaceful. There was fuel for the stove and lovely old feel to the restored cottage . In the area we were able to avail of some fishing at the Nore in Mt. Juliet, grab some nice vintage bargains at the sunday carboot at Castleinch, checked out Kilkenny Architectural Salvage, swam at the Weir swimspot on the Nore, had delicious food at Aran bistro in Kilkenny, had pints at Gradys pub in Stonyford, climbed the tower at St. Canices; all within 30 minute drive over our 4 day stay. Highly revommend.

Staying at Noreen's reminded me of the things I used to love about Airbnb: staying locally, with a local, who wanted to share their space and their knowledge with guests from all over the world. Noreen is so very warm and friendly, so responsive, her dogs and cats are the cutest, the space is just as pictured and has everything you need to feel right at home - and Noreen adds some lovely extras as well. And you get to wake up to beautiful Irish scenery! Green hills, cows, just all so peaceful. We would recommend it to anyone looking for that kind of experience, you will definitely find it here.

We had a lovely stay down at Rita and Sean’s place, the area is perfect - close to where you need to be in Kilkenny and very peaceful. The place is very modern and has everything you need especially in our case with a baby and dog - both Rita and Sean made themselves available if needed which always helps.
