Cosy seaside cottage

CoryanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Words cannot capture the magic of Catriona's cottage! It is truly one of the best places I've ever stayed. You're nestled against the water and tucked in among trees, with unobstructed views of nature from every window. I loved waking up to birds chirping every morning and no road sounds for a change. Inside is equally magical with the coziest fireplace and most luxurious bed and shower. What a treat to come back to after a long day exploring in the temperamental weather of Skye. The only thing I missed was a microwave, but other than that the kitchen has everything you could need. I will note that I had a hard time finding it because I didn't trust GPS, but Google maps got me there on paved roads without trouble. Thank you, Catriona!

The Airigh

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had the best weekend. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and absolutely spotless with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. It was situated in a nice quiet location just a few miles outside the town of Broadford. It had stunning views over a loch towards the Isles of Raasay and Scalpay. It was a quiet location but perfect to explore the many sights of Skye and close enough to the towns of Broadford and Portree where you can find shops, restaurants etc. The hosts were great and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and i would highly recommend.

I spent my 30th birthday in the cabin at Elgol and to say it was magical is an understatement. The cabin itself is gorgeous let alone its setting. If you looking for something special or just a beautiful peaceful escape surrounded by nature this is the place. Thank you for being such kind hosts we would 1000% come back! Suzi and Tom

Kilbride Loft, a stunning Isle of Skye retreat

BarbaraRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had the most enjoyable four day stay at Alison’s loft; warm, comfortable, well equipped and in the most peaceful surroundings in a stunning landscape. Waking up to the cuckoo calling every morning was an added bonus. The welcome basket of milk, bread and local beer was well received! A definite 5-star stay.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Came to Skye for the Half Marathon and also to explore the island. Fabulous Pod and beautiful views. Enjoyed watching the Goats and were given a warm welcome from the Shetland Pony when we arrived.

Spacious cabin beside the sea

JustinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a fantastic stay at Rachel’s place on Skye! The house was exactly like the photos - clean, modern, and comfortable. Rachel was a great host, quick to respond and very welcoming. The dishwasher (with separate cutlery tray), strong shower, and fast Wi-Fi were all great. The huge garden was a bonus, we even saw a deer! The view is stunning, and on clear days you can spot the Old Man of Storr from the street. The house feels new and the bed is comfy, though bring a sleep mask if you're light-sensitive as it doesn't get very dark at night. Only thing we missed was a microwave, but heating food in a pan worked fine. Parking was easy, and we really appreciated the fresh bread, coffee, and tea waiting for us. We even had a nice chat with Rachel and her lovely kids. Thanks again for everything, including the Sticky Willy! We’d love to come back. Five stars: well deserved!
