Apartment holiday rentals in Duisburg-Süd

I am really thrilled, everything was 100 percent right. A nice little apartment in a nice house. Very quiet and just perfect for me. I can recommend this apartment.

Laura was a wonderful host. She welcomed us directly, showed us everything and gave us many nice recommendations for our stay. In addition, she gave us great information on all sorts of questions. Even when we accidentally locked ourselves in, she was there to free us. In addition to the fantastic host, the Airbnb was also a dream. It is a lot bigger than in the pictures, super clean and the beds are incredibly soft and large. After the first night, we all agreed that these were the most comfortable beds we had ever slept on. We were in Duisburg for Dokomi 2025 and drove to Düsseldorf every day. That also went great, the route was not too long and you always found a parking space at the Airbnb in the evening. Supermarkets were also directly accessible. It was therefore an incredibly great stay. Thanks again to Laura 🫶🏻

Everything was as described, I recommend the location well

Everything was even better than we expected. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood on walking distance from the city center. Private parking space right in front of the house. Super facile communication with the host. Definetly a place where we would like to return!

Very nice and tidy place. No complains whatsoever

Gerhard’s place was perfect for the two nights I stayed. Everything was squeaky clean, the bed very comfortable and the room felt very comfortable and was very quiet. Gerhard was there to greet me and we had a nice chat. He granted me another hour at checkout time without any problems. I would definitely recommend his place!

Thanks for the great place. I had a good time there and the university is directly nearby, thus a great place to stay if you need to do something there.

Great place to stay... any time again

Me and my wife stayed here for a few days and found the place to be tidy, comfortable and Andrea & Michael even had breakfast food, drinks and a meal prepped just in case we needed it. Very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The flat was great for our needs, though the way up to the fourth floor was tough after a day playing hockey. The flat has everything that you need to get started, and food and drink can be easily got from the nearby Lidl. The 934 bus line from the station and to the hockey club has a stop about 130 metres away.

Pleasant location, very easily accessible, super nice host, beautiful apartment - somewhat cold floor in the living room, but underfloor heating in the bathroom. I find the prices of all nights in Duisburg quite high; but this has nothing to do with the fact that this apartment is more expensive compared to others in Duisburg.

Great host with instant, humorous and friendly communication. Freddy even messaged the following day after check-in to see that everything was fine and we had no problems or questions. Detailed instructions for check in. Clean, bright and airy apartment close to supermarket, bakery, restaurants and other local amenities. Comfortable bed. Nice little welcoming touches in the apartment, very clean. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend. Hopefully we will maybe come back again one day.

The price was fully worth it - the accommodation is very well maintained and looks even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures - really the perfect break for couples Maria is super sweet and mega accommodating :) Thank you very much for this great experience - we will definitely come back!

Heike and Mike are great hosts. We were very warmly welcomed and they were there to help and advise us. The accommodation exceeded our expectations.

A very large and super-equipped apartment in a good location with two very special highlights: a whirlpool - and a private cinema with four comfortable armchairs, Netflix access, a large screen and great sound. The location is also great: in a few minutes' walk you can reach the nearest subway station and a shopping centre, yet it is very quiet. I was there by bike, and the apartment was the perfect starting point for trips to the Zollverein mine, the Nordsternpark in Gelsenkirchen and other interesting places. Communication with Lucas was great, fast response times and help with queries/problems at all times. If I am drawn back to the area, I would like to stay here again as a guest!

Great accommodation. We felt comfortable right away. There is a lot of attention to detail here and as soon as you enter the apartment, you enter the relaxation mode. Everything you need is available and the contact with Christina and Christian was great. We will be happy to come back. :)

Christoph's service was really wonderful. He was attentive to us at all times and for anything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, everything is very carefully thought out to the millimeter and very well thought out for anyone. The house is really cozy. The lighting is very relaxed with those views of the terrace. My mother and I have certainly rested and relaxed as much as we needed. The jacuzzi is amazing. We had a very nice experience. We will definitely repeat

We felt very comfortable with Christian and his family. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we were more than adequately supplied with coffee and if something is missing, Christian is immediately on the spot. The hot tub is a real hit, everything is lovingly furnished and clean. We will definitely be back.
