CnocArd is a cosy and characterful self catering cottage situatied in the south of Skye (Sleat) in the township of Drumfearn. Looking out towards the kinloch hills and Ben Sgritheall. Behind the cottage a short walk you will find beautiful views of Loch Eishort also home to our family run rope grown mussel farm and working creel caught Langoustine fishing boat. Cnocard is a short five minute drive to the local town where you will find a supermarket, petrol station and chemist.

The Strawbale Bothy is made from simple, natural materials; wood, clay, straw and lime, there are no nasty chemicals, no concrete, and where we have had to use plastic, it is to an absolute minimum. It's the perfect place for a spring break, the straw walls make it super cosy. Built just for two, feel free to kick off your shoes and coorie in after a bracing walk in the sea air or though misty glens.

Not suitable for mobility issues as the bedrooms are upstairs or for overly tall people as the doorways are low!

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
