This cycle route connects the Charente maritime estuary to Sarlat La Caneda in the Dordogne over 400km.

The site consists of an island of about 5000 m², surrounded by water, on which is located an old lock house from 1837, completely refurbished, very bright and comfortable. A spectacular 200 year old barn, given a modern conversion. Bois Blanc is set in private grounds, down its own track surrounded by cognac vineyards. The Barn has a cinematic view mezzanine bedroom, a decking and outdoor furniture and use of swimming pool (normally open for 1st of June but can be earlier, depending on weather.)
