Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Douglas

Can’t say enough about how convenient the location was to several wineries and short drives to multiple destination towns. The house itself was very modern, spacious and clean. Very well decorated, comfortable and thought out for all your needs. The two person sauna and hot tub were nice and relaxing. There was a little park at the end of the road for viewing the sunset of Lake MI that was nice but fenced off to beach access. There was a public beach listed on Google Maps a mile away but when we got there it was misrepresented because signs were posted no parking and the two walk ways to it were private property marked. Seemed like the whole neighborhood was private property access. We weren’t going in the water in April but if someone planned on a close beach day, the nearest was a ten minute or more drive and not a walk.

Lisa is a top notch hostess! We mistakenly arrived a day early! I know, how is that even possible, right? 😂 We made a mistake lol! We were in town to celebrate of 5th wedding anniversary. Lisa was so sweet! She tried to help us find a place to stay nearby. The home was very clean and accommodating. Great location. We even walked a little over a mile to town to have ice cream. 🍨Our pups loved being able to romp and play in the yard. Lisa was very responsive during our entire stay. We usually come to Holland a couple of times a year and will definitely try to stay at Tulip Cottage during future visits. Thank you Lisa for making our stay a beautiful one. Blessings to you! The place was amazing. Plenty of space for my girlfriend, me and our two dogs. Kimberly gave lots of great recommendations and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you again!!

Very comfortable stay would definitely use him again. We use the house to stay to be close to our wedding venue. Any issues we had he was quick to respond and ready to fix it ( mostly not his doing we lost power in storm) other issues were address quickly. We use Airbnb often for hockey tournaments and are hoping if we play in holland we can put the coaches up here again. Highly recommend.

Loved staying here! It was comfortable, had more than enough room, and it wasn't far from town or the beach-so there was a lot to do! Diane left us some suggestions on restaurants and places to visit, made sure there were some welcome snacks, and was an all-around great host!

Robert’s home was lovely. The setting was as described. We were close to activities and also secluded enough to relax and enjoy our time together on the deck. I highly recommend Robert’s place.

Place was great for what we needed. Saw a concert downtown Grand Rapids one night which was about a 10 min uber ride. Super easy and close. Neighborhood seemed older but felt safe the entire stay. Could tell people took pride in their gardening and well landscaped yard just like the backyard at this house. Thought backyard was completely fenced in though when I first booked months ago. One side was open to a beautiful huge open lot. Contacted the host and they were okay with us putting up a temporary fence to close in the yard for our dogs we were traveling with. Ended up getting that at Home Depot which was also very close to the house. Worked great for our dogs to run around and play while we sat in the sun and enjoyed the beautiful backyard. It was amazing. Felt right at home.

We had a truly lovely and peaceful weekend at Erica and Mark’s place. The setting is stunning—tucked into a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful woods that bring a sense of calm and privacy from the moment you arrive. The space itself is welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, everything needed for a short restorative stay. Communication with our hosts was smooth and considerate throughout, from check-in to departure. They shared helpful instructions, made sure we felt welcome, and were very accommodating—including helping us locate an outdoor outlet for our EV setup. We especially appreciated the little touches: fresh water, coffee, and snacks, as well as the feeling of being entirely independent while knowing our hosts were available if needed. If you’re looking for a serene nature escape with the convenience of modern comfort, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended—we would gladly return. Thank you Erica and Mark! Unbelievable stay with 6 adults, 4 kids. Fully stocked house, with everything you could ever need. Pristine bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Kitchen was huge and pool/outdoor BBQ and amenities were great. A 2-minute walk to the beach, and close drive to Saugatuck and downtown for restos. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay here - it was a very comfortable home in a sweet neighborhood and conveniently located to restaurants, stores, etc.

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

Northern Lights condo is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. You will not find a cleaner rental! There are many thoughtful touches such as bath supplies and local attraction maps. We spent the weekend attending a wedding at the Felt Estate, just 10 minutes away. The condo is in a quiet location and close to all local attractions.

If you are looking for a peaceful camping experience this is the place to stay. Beautiful surrounding and pool, pickleball court to play a game or too all that is very close to the camper. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to book this again.

This was by far the best lodging accommodations I've ever had! Sandy Shores, was SPOTLESS! I am a bit of a neat freak and it takes a lot for me to say this. I can't speak more highly of this place. It was a great space and had EVERYTHING you could think- they even supplied laundry detergent pods! Something most places with washers and dryers never offer. The Juniper staff were also lovely to work with and were super accommodating. They were very quick with replies as well. The location was also excellent, 10 minute walk to Newcome Beach entrance. I will 100% be back in the off season again as it is a higher price during peak summer season. Thanks Sandy Shores for a wonderful little getaway!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped. The rooms were comfortable. The backyard was fenced in and good to let our small dog run around in.

We loved our stay! Great location that is walkable to the beach and right next door to a cafe and the Root Beer Barrel. The house is updated and comfortable and includes all of the amenities you'd need. Would definitely stay here again!

This cozy cabin is in a perfect location, just a short drive from so many great spots. Despite being close to the owners’ house, I felt like I had complete privacy, especially with the deck facing the woods and the fire pit area all to ourselves. The space is small but thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, making it a perfect retreat for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway.

We loved this house! Lots of parking, easy entry, great communication with Art Coast, and the home was so comfortable with wonderful decor! We liked the fenced in yard, the beautiful kitchen and the walkable neighborhood. This is a great house for families!

We had the best time at The Gambrel; the perfect multi-generational getaway! Johnny and Michelle have literally thought of everything you could possibly need. The house is the perfect distance away to be private yet convenient. Any tiny question we had was answered within minutes. The area is safe, quiet, and serene. Lots of areas for multiple families to congregate but also have privacy within the home. Every detail has been thought of and the primary bedroom showerhead is to die for! I will be dreaming of this vacation home and will definitely return!

Joanna’s place was the perfect getaway for our family. It was clean, had amenities for our 1 year old son and was peaceful and quiet. Additionally, she provided great info about the nearby town to include restaurants, activities, shops, etc. I would highly recommend staying at her place!
