Freudenstadt, home to Germany's largest market square, is only about 6 km away and can be reached quickly. The region offers a wealth of options for both active and relaxing days: well-developed cycling and hiking trails, diverse natural landscapes and cultural attractions make for a varied and appealing stay.

Welcome to the cozy and ecologically built wooden house “Herta” in the countryside! Our three-room log cabin is located within walking distance of the forest edge and offers a cosy stay for up to 4 guests. Look forward to a relaxing place with a large garden and space to unwind. Our motto: cosiness and relaxation combined with nature and sport. 🌲 Two e-bikes are available for you to use at your leisure to explore the surrounding area.

Between 12.05-08.06 we can accept only a long stay. We're flexible with dates and prices, please send us a message. Our flat is 5-7 mins walk to the center. You can take the Sommerbergbahn (Funicular) to reach Baumwipfelpfad (Treetop Walk) or the Hängebrücke (Wildline). Two thermal baths and restaurants are also located in the center. A walk in our lovely Kurpark is a must. There's definitely an option for everyone in Bad Wildbad.

Sauna, animals and nature in the "Lerchennest"

The "Lerchennest" is located separately on the upper floor of the rustic half-timbered house built in 1890. The small town of Aach is only 5 minutes by car from the spa town of Freudenstadt and offers the ideal base to discover the Black Forest. But there is also plenty to explore around the Lerchennest: the natural garden, a fireplace for grilling, a sauna for relaxing, feeding goats or hiking together, cuddly cats and much more.
