Therry and Christian are lovely hosts and their apartment is absolutely perfect! It is underground, so it stays cool even on very sunny days, plus you can open the window to get a bit of the breeze. There is also heating in the room for if it is too cold, so you can create the perfect climate. The room itself is immaculate and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is spacious and well equipped, and there is a small kettle and coffee machine, plus a little fridge, for preparing drinks and keeping food. The apartment is also right on a nature reserve which is beautiful for walks. There is a lot of wildlife to see along the river. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and if I ever find myself in Basel again, I would come back in a heartbeat.

The accommodation is very comfortable and accessible by public transport. We were able to park our car easily. The environment is quiet with a beautiful view of nature.

Elisabeth and her family have been very friendly and welcoming. The flat they offer was very clean, tidy, practical and pretty. We had a very pleasant stay. She assisted us and responded our questions very quickly. Although not very central, it is not difficult to reach the Basel city center by public transport, just check the bus and tram schedule in advance. All in all, I highly recommend in case you visit Basel!
