Ethna was such a lovely welcome host with freshly baked cake and hot drink on arrival. Here breakfast the next morning was one of the best we have had so much choice and good quality food! Our host Joyce and her husband Alan were extremely friendly and helpful, we felt very comfortable. They gave us great tips for excursions. The view from the breakfast room and from our room was great. The room was very clean and pleasantly furnished. Very nice bed-and-breakfast place to stay!

Culloden Moor - King Sized Room with ensuite. No.2

Kim-ThomasRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We found Ali's room exactly as described, everything was spotless, tidy and clean. The place is close to the famous battlefield and to some well-preserved cairns. A restaurant serving huge plates and a grocery store are nearby as well. The view from the window onto the landscape and sea is great. There's a handsome dog in the garden

Purlie Lodge Apartment

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Purlie Lodge Apartment is ideally situated in Abriachan, a scattered rural community high above Loch Ness. There is a wonderful view from apartment towards the Monadhliath Mountains. It’s right in the centre of nature with access to Abriachan Forest Trust and some great walks. Irene and John are ideal hosts and the apartment has everything you need.

Great Glen Apartment Inverness

FabioRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Located in a very quiet residential area less than 10 minutes by car from the centre. The apartment is practically new and offers all the services you may need: large kitchen with kitchenette, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, etc. In addition, Lee was a fantastic host, always available for the requests we made. Highly recommended!!

Historic hideaway Loch Ness + separate #2 listing

I had the most wonderfull stay with Neville and Jane at the Drumbuie House. Every moment of my visit was so special, and I walked away with such incredibly meaningful memories. I cannot recommend this house enough to travelers, especially for anyone interested in old stories of the Highlands and intellectual conversations about art, music, and literature ranging from the timeless classics such as Mahler and Wordsworth to the more contemporary revolutionaries such as Patti Smith and Basquiat. Regardless of where your interests fall, I am sure that Neville and Jane will have something rousing to say and are sure to have a relevant book tucked away in their expansive library. My time at Drumbuie House was intellectually nourishing as much as it was inspiring, and all of my love and gratitude goes out to Neville and Jane. Right away, they were warm and welcoming and always went above and beyond in making their home open to me. I am already planning a trip to visit them again!
