Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dorchester, Boston

Our Stay with Aurelia was lovely! The Japanese culturally inspired interior was so comfy! It was a perfect place to stay for a little 2 night trip of exploring Boston! The space was perfectly clean and cozy. I highly recommend! We even received a few visits from two very sweet and polite kitties! The space isn’t completely separate from Aurelia’s top floor but that wasn’t much of an issue! The private entrance allows seamless exits and entries for any activities! Make note of the lack of kitchen/drinking water source but if you plan on staying out and about in Boston then it also isn’t an issue!

My husband and I had a lovely couple of nights at Siena's. The room was very clean, well equipped, and quiet. Martin and Siena were very accommodating, brought me an iron and ironing board when we asked. We were in Boston for just a couple of days for a wedding and this was a perfect location for us. We could easily walk to many places such local cafes and coffee shops, (highly recommend Mike's Donuts!) and to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stuart Gardener Museum, as well as to two different T lines, the orange and the green. We took Martin up on his suggestion of walking up the hill to the top of the mission hill park and had a lovely view of Boston Harbour. Will definitely recommend to friends visiting Boston!

I seriously don't know where to start...Yanlin is the most loving, thoughtful, and friendly host I have ever met. Her apartment is cute and very clean and the bed in the bedroom is pretty comfortable considering that I have back problems. Yanlin immediately welcomed me and my daughters into the apartment and made us feel right at home. She checked on us but at the same time she was not a bother. She talked to us but at the same time she didn't talk too much. She was giving and she didn't think twice about paying forward. Yanlin not only gave me a discount on my stay because she knew I was moving in a few days but she also gave me items for my new place. I am extremely thankful for her and I will definitely stay again just to get away from my home for a few days 💜

I didn’t spend much time there other than sleeping as I spent Father’s Day weekend with my daughter (attending college) in the city. However, I imagine had I had more time in the area Anderson would most likely been very helpful

We loved this apartment. It was well appointed with top of the line furnishings and appliances. But what stood out was the charecter and charm of an older home that was well preserved. It was amazing experience. The kids loved the little loft upstairs. We could watch the sunset from our room every day. The little park is right infront of the apparent with the tower which made it feel more spacious. They also had stuff for coffee and a light breakfast which was a nice touch. We would highly recommend

It’s a great space! It’s a little old, but it makes up for where it’s located and all its amenities. I stayed for a week and was able to get to Boston with ease. Along with any other adventures I went on, I’d stay there again.

Thanh’s place was really nice and comfortable for the four of us. We spent most of our time in Boston and Ubers were easy to get and at a good price after 9:30am. Highly recommend!

So incredibly happy with Angie’s listing. Visited with my dad, who had the opportunity to see his old stomping grounds. This location is so essential to all things to explore – less than a 15 to 25 minute drive to Boston, depending on morning traffic, great food within walking distance, and beautiful historical sites and homes. Highly recommend. Will definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Paige’s place for the weekend! It was the perfect space for two and close to many bars and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay. Katarzyna was kind enough to allow us to drop our luggage off before check-in. The apartment is a short, safe walk from the subway, this was a huge help in navigating Boston. Apartment was very clean.

We very much liked staying there. It is a nice neighborhood and very close to South Bay shopping mall with many restaurants and easy and convenient shopping. It is also very close to all major attractions in Boston but much quieter environment. Our host, Marian was extremely helpful, proactive and super responsive, the best we have had so far in our trips. I strongly recommend this place to families.

We loved Andy’s place! Comfortable beds, hot strong shower, very roomy. Two balconies! Shops, restaurants, diners, grocery stores, discount stores, all in easy walking distance. There are quite a lot of steps to get up to the apartment, but they’re well-lit and there are hand rails everywhere. My sister lives less than a mile away from Andy’s house and doesn’t always have room for all of us. We’ll definitely be back!

Adorable brownstone in JP! Close to the orange line, quiet neighborhood with lots of families. House was great, lots of space.

My wife and I absolutely love this apartment with city view rooftop. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to restaurants. It has artistic decorations. Kitchen is clean and well stocked. The classic record player and record collection are fabulous. Listening to 70s, 80s music with morning sunshine from skylight and coffee beautiful. And we had a breakfast on the roof top, you can’t beat the view. And Chandra provided all the institutions and local tips before we arrive. We enjoyed everything in the apartment.

We absolutely loved our stay and Katherine was such an amazing host. So communicative and helpful from check-in to parking. She had great recommendations and was such a helpful host. The home was gorgeous. So homey! We cannot wait to come back. It’s in a perfect location. A beautiful neighborhood. and as somebody who grew up in Massachusetts even I was taken back as to how beautiful the experience was being there. Fabulous stay for a family from Texas with 2 kiddos under 10 years old. Super close to the T and easy to get to all the tourist sites in town. This is a homey place - not one of those sterile managed by a company places. We came home every night looking forward to movies on the couch after a long day in town. Very highly recommend!!
