Beautiful walks and hikes right outside the front door. Depends, if somebody comes from far away we like to have a chat and tell them about this beautiful area what walks to take where to shop or rent skis otherwise we respect your privacy. The apartments are adjacent to the castle so you can be completely private if you like Most convenient is to have a rental car with you even though the trains to Salzburg and Vienna are just a short walk away. We even have a beautiful sports airfield close by where you can rent a small plane or book a scenic flight or another destination.

The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. I, Martina Hochlahner & family, are the landlords of the Troadkasten Hollnhof, which was built in 1842 and adapted into a holiday apartment integrated into agriculture. The farm is a hereditary farm or an active farm with year-round management and has been family-owned for decades. Guests are welcome to immerse themselves in the farm world. We offer peace and relaxation as well as a fantastic view of the mountains.

Our vacation home is just a little off the beaten path (road, train) and yet in the middle of nature at the foot of the mighty Grimming. It is only about 30 km to Schladming or Ausseerland. There are countless opportunities for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers or even those who want to relax! Looking forward to seeing you soon !
