The Ardhowen Theatre and the National Trust property Castle Coole are just a 5 minute drive with The Marble Arch Caves and our famous Stairway to Heaven at Cuilcagh are also within a 15-20 minute drive. Canoe hire and Boat Hire is only a 10 minute walk away.

There is a modern main bathroom with large bath & shower & another en-suite with large shower. Additional toilet is available downstairs. Laundry facilities are available in separate utility room. Light spacious downstairs hallway & upstairs landing with good view to help you relax.

It is a perfect place to stay when exploring tourist attractions in the Midlands or going to a wedding in one of Cavans hotels or just for a quiet break The self contained apartment is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials needed for a self-catering break. Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
