Englewood beach is close by, so If you are looking for relaxation on the beach or by the pool, there is a pool to have a cocktail by. The area has many things to do like kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, charters, golfing, and many bars and restaurants.

5/5 stars! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house was perfect for our family's needs, with everything we could possibly want. But the real showstopper was the stunning view - it took our breath away every day! Our whole family loved every moment of our stay, and we can't wait to come back every summer. Even the intense storm on our last day couldn't dampen our spirits! The big waves and strong winds only added to the excitement, and we still managed to have a great time. Thank you to our amazing hosts for sharing this gem with us. We'll be back soon, storm or shine!

My family just spent a week at Turtle Landing and we liked it so much we booked for 2026 before we left. Although we arrived late at night, we were able to find the property easily as it was well marked and lit. The property is spacious and comfortable with a wrap around terrace which is tremendous and adds an additional room for gathering. The pool gets sun nearly all day, so we enjoyed finishing up our trips to the beach with some time around the pool. My niece and I made use of the kayaks, and there is plenty of areas to explore. This was a key attraction for us and a real differentiator when comparing properties. Turtle Landing has it all….beach nearby, kayaks for the bay, and a pool and hot tub! Scott was a lovely host and extremely responsive to inquiries. We did rent a golf cart from Barb and I recommend this as it gives you a chance to really explore the island….and allows you to quickly get to the beach, or the local water hole (Rum Bay) with ease. This is our second time staying at this lovely home. It is well stocked and beautifully decorated. We love having the dock right across the street and the beach a short golf cart ride away. We will be back! Lauran was always responsive, easy to work with and kind.

"Salt of the Sea" - beachfront and pet friendly!

This place was incredible! It is right on the beautiful beach, and we saw dolphins, manatees and a sea turtle laying her eggs! The weather was perfect and we basically had the entire 7 miles of beach to ourselves the whole week. Make sure you carefully plan what food you are going to bring because you can't go back and forth to the mainland easily. If you can, pack some insulated grocery bags to bring your frozen food on the boat ride. The island is still recovering from the hurricanes last year, but it didn't affect our experience at Tasha's. We hope to come back again!

Paradise Cottage Island Oasis

Our family had an amazing time at Carrie and Jay’s place! Perfect size for our family (2 adults and 4 kids). The house is clean, comfortable, with an adorable beach theme and has everything you need and more. The pool was our favorite part, it was priceless for Florida in July. We rented a boat from Abe’s, which was conveniently right across the intercoastal at cape haze marina and were able to dock the boat at the private pier in back. Great fishing nearby in the little island channels and we saw lots of dolphins and manatees! We also rented a local golf cart, which made it easy to be at the beach within a couple minutes (would have been maybe 10 min walk to the nearest beach access, not bad). But it was great having the golf cart to explore the island and go get ice cream at Coconuts just about every day. Carrie was super helpful giving advice and recommendations for restaurants and visiting the other nearby islands. We loved every minute and hope to come back someday!

Private Island Paradise

This was exactly what we needed to complete work on the island. The house was exactly what we expected, the host had an open line of communication and when the garbage disposal stopped working unexpectedly Jackflap had a plumber out ASAP to fix it. With 7 people in the house it was definitely needed and much appreciated! Everyone had their own space and we couldn't be happier.
