Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dolores Hidalgo

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in San Miguel de Allende! The house is even more charming and spacious in person than in the photos, with thoughtful design touches throughout. The location couldn’t be better — just a short, scenic walk to the heart of Centro, but tucked away on a peaceful street that feels like a true retreat. The outdoor spaces, especially the rooftop terrace, were incredible — perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets with sweeping views of the city. The bedrooms were all comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals at home. Every detail felt cared for, and the property was spotless. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, making check-in and the entire stay completely seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and memorable experience in San Miguel!

Mi estancia en este Airbnb fue simplemente inmejorable. Desde el momento en que llegamos, las instalaciones superaron nuestras expectativas: todo impecable, moderno y con acabados de lujo que realmente hacen sentir que estás en un lugar especial. Cada detalle estaba cuidado con esmero, desde la decoración hasta la comodidad de cada espacio. Pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue la atención del personal del residencial. No solo fueron amables y profesionales, sino que además estuvieron siempre disponibles para ayudarnos con cualquier necesidad. Nos brindaron recomendaciones locales, nos asistieron con reservas y hasta se tomaron el tiempo de asegurarse de que estuviéramos cómodos durante toda nuestra estancia. Sin duda, este lugar combina lo mejor de un alojamiento de alta gama con la calidez de un servicio personalizado. Lo recomendaría sin dudar a quienes busquen una experiencia completa y de primer nivel.

La casa es muy amplia, precio muy accesible para lo que ofrece en cuanto espacio y amenidades. Tal cual y como se muestra en las fotografías si visitas esta casa pasaras un rato muy agradable en familia.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt completely at home. The house was beautiful and offered stunning views of San Miguel de Allende. Lynn was extremely responsive and ensured we were well taken care of throughout our visit.

This house was Awesome! Michael greeted us even though we arrived very late due to some flight complications. Michael was also very responsive to our requests and was more than willing to help with some general questions about the town. The house was also very clean and the staff who came in daily were also very sweet. We had them make us some breakfast on a few occasions and it was exceptional. Would highly recommend and will likely stay here on our next trip to San Miguel.

La casa es tal cual las fotos, es súper tranquila y tienes todo para pasar un momento agradable, la lluvia no nos permitió usar el roof, pero se veía muy relajante, la limpieza muy buena y las instrucciones siempre claras, Alexis siempre al pendiente y con recomendaciones. Un buen lugar para pasar un tiempo de relax. La persona de vigilancia muy amable.

Very charming colonial style house located in the center of everything. A very unique experience! The host greeted us at the house and showed us around. The rooftop is absolutely the best. I also find the house very clean. There was a bit of issue with hot shower, but the host tried his best to fix it.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in this peaceful and beautiful home. We loved the neighborhood, it was quiet but friendly, had several little grocery stores nearby plus a tortilla shop, meat shop and fruit and vegetable shop. We met a few ex pat neighbors who were also very friendly. We walked to the centro every day, an easy downhill 20-25 minute walk and then took a taxi back for the uphill climb in the heat of the afternoon. The home and garden made us especially love just hanging out when we got back from our daily adventures. Sitting down outside in the shade with a mojito garnished with a lime from the tree in the garden was delightful. A few but not many mosquitoes, no worse than home. Enrique was so helpful and fun, we were good friends by the end of our 8 days. He drove us to many places that we wanted to visit (pay the taxi rate) and suggested nearby restaurants and shops. I am a folk artist and loved all the wonderful art. I would highly recommend this home.

Absolutely 10/10 experience staying at Quinta Tenerias! Sharon was so helpful and communicative. The apartment was so beautiful and spacious for 4 people - two full master bedrooms. The concierge going grocery shopping for us saved us a ton of time and added a nice touch being able to cook breakfast every morning. Best part is that housekeeping cleaned daily and addressed every need! What an incredible, walkable, safe part of San Miguel. We will definitely be back!

Un muy buen lugar con excelente ubicación. Contaba con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. El único detalle es que en las tardes el calor llega a molestar dentro del lugar.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a wonderful way to experience a bit of urban life in Mexico. It was our first time to San Miguel de Allende and I highly recommend staying here. We didn't need a car and enjoyed walking everywhere (and stumbling home from the nearby El Manantial). The place is really nicely done and super comfortable....an oasis in the city. We spent every evening and almost every sunset enjoying the roof deck -- it's really special and different every night.

Stacey’s place is beautiful, convenient, and well-appointed. It had tons of space, was close to the town center if we wanted to go out to eat, and close to the mercado and a cute little neighborhood grocery if we wanted to cook. There are lovely outdoor spaces upstairs and downstairs for lounging; everyone in our party of six was very comfortable and happy in the space. Stacey herself was extremely accommodating and helpful both before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

El condominio que nos rentó Inés nos gustó mucho. Esta muy bien localizado a tan solo cuadras del centro, tiene seguridad y las amenities son muy buenas. La atención de Inés fue muy buena y oportuna. De hecho ya estamos planeando regresar en el futuro próximo.

La casa está muy agradable y cómoda. La cocina muy bien equipada. La terraza espectacular. Muy tranquila Puedes caminar al centro y está muy cerca, lo único que a que de regreso del centro es subida pero vale toda la pena. Me volvería a quedar en esta casa.

Absolutely beautiful home with gorgeous views. Great home for a large group. Very safe area with security. Very near attractions and near fantastic grocery stores but not walkable. Very responsive hosts easy to reach by phone.

Realmente la propiedad es espectacular. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia. Fue una reunión familiar la cual fue placentera. La casa cuenta con muchos detalles agregan confort, descanso, diversión y todo lo que uno necesita para pasar unas buenas vacaciones. Jorge siempre estuvo atento y los trabajadores que tiene de igual forma dieron un servicio de primera. Definitivamente vamos a volver a hospedarnos en esta propiedad que fácilmente puedo decir a sido el mejor Airbnb en el cual me he hospedado. Gracias Jorge por todas tus atenciones.

This was a fabulous location to stay in in SMA. My family of 13 was so comfortable; plenty of room. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Rosario and her sister Lolita took care of every need. Rosario‘s cooking was amazing we only got to have dinner one night because we had so many plans but the morning breakfasts were fabulous And always a supply of chips and salsa during the day for anyone to snack on. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende . five days was not enough! Many of my guests did walk to and from town but others chose to Uber/taxi and that was very easy. We did some wonderful hiking tours , music tours , ATV excursions and lots of fun shopping and fantastic restaurants. We were visiting for a family wedding but I would certainly go back. Thank you Nancy for offering this fabulous location and thank you to Rosario for making us feel so welcome.

We didn’t know much about Villas Xichu when we booked it — it just seemed to be a convenient and reasonably priced higher-end accommodation. But Gloria was extremely friendly and communicative from the word “go”, checking in with us frequently as our stay approached. When we finally arrived (while Gloria herself was abroad), the staff welcomed us right away, and we were very pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to the nuptial suite. This was a significant upgrade to a beautiful apartment with a stunning view of SMA, amazing decor and many thoughtful amenities. Gloria continued to check in how we were finding things, made us feel right at home and part of the Villas Xichu family! I heartily recommend and can’t wait to return!
