The train station is within walking distance; you can get to Groningen in 14 minutes and to Leeuwarden in 30 minutes. An ideal base for exploring the city, nature, Lauwersmeer and Schiermonnikoog. Voorzien van airco(voor verwarmen én verkoelen) en vloerverwarming. Come and stay in the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. This area is known for its many elm groves. A beautiful green area, with plenty of cycling and walking paths. Located on the N358, you will be on the road again in no time for a visit to the Wadden Islands or the eleven cities in Friesland. Our garden borders the Staatsbosbeheer meadows and offers panoramic views. With a bit of luck, you'll see deer walking by. For €15.00 per person per night, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning.

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Spot the stork in the field, looking for prey for its young, with a bit of luck you might even see a deer!
