Monthly Rentals in Discovery Island

We really enjoyed our month’s stay! John and Sarah were excellent hosts with plenty of local knowledge and activity recommendations. The unit was well equipped for both short and longer stays, with amenities for young children (high chair, etc.) upon request. Most appreciated, they were very family friendly hosts who were happy to have young children stay. The location is ideal with parks and grocery stores nearby. Most of Victoria’s urban area is within a 15-minute drive, making it a perfect home base for exploring the southern island. I would certainly recommend this spot when visiting Victoria.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this Airbnb — it’s an absolute gem! Waking up to a panoramic ocean view right from the bedroom was magical, especially on a sunny day when we could see the snow-capped peak of Mount Baker in the distance. Nature lovers will be thrilled — during our stay, we encountered two adorable deer, a group of wild rabbits, seals, Canada geese, and even an elegant egret. The home itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: washer, dryer, dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of ocean waves at night was an experience we’ll treasure — truly the kind of peaceful luxury that makes a vacation special. Mason is a fantastic host — incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. It’s clear he puts a lot of heart into making guests feel welcome. All in all, this place was a rare find and a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in Carolyn's place before so no any surprises for me. Liked the location close to food shopping, nice area for a walk and close to the ocean while away from the tourist area.

The carriage house that Heidi manages was lovely. It was comfortable and offered most of what I needed for my visit. It was great to have a washer and dryer for laundry, and three windows allowed for the option of lovely airflow on cool evenings. The neighbourhood was quiet and close to several grocery stores and other shopping. Since I had a car during my 30 day stay, the location in Saanich was convenient for getting around. The owners, Heather and Johnny were friendly and helpful when I had questions. They made me feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this carriage house.
