The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

As a former leather goods store of our ancestors - the Weintraut gift shop family - we now welcome you to the newly furnished ground floor apartment of this historic house from 1530. The poet Dietrich Weintraut, known beyond the city's borders, already lived here in the 19th century.
