The city center of Heiligenstadt can also be reached in 5 minutes by car (or 30 minutes on foot via bicycle or rural paths). Cyclists will get their money's worth on the Leine-Heide cycle path, as it is about 800 m away. To escape the stress of everyday life and recharge your batteries, our surroundings are wonderful :)

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist!

The edge of the forest is only about 100 meters away and invites you to take long walks. Furthermore, we often have various animals on the farm or the adjacent pasture that can be made acquainted with. Also a train station, a bakery and a supermarket are only a few minutes' walk away.
