I visited KeeKoo in April and it was just the perfect loveliest time to be there. Me and my partner were visiting from London and were looking to get away from the hustle bustle of the city life and this place was a gem of a find. The people, the place and the views, they were all amazing! Because this place has just 6 tents, the place is not overly crowded, fairly quiet and you’re surrounded with nature and the birds chirping throughout the day. We did a few hikes around the area and explored the forest and the villages close by. I would like to appreciate the restaurant manager - Suresh, he was an absolute sweetheart and very hospitable. Would also like to mention Ankit and Ajeet for their kindness and good conversations. Highly recommend KeeKoo! Will definitely be going back.

This was by far the best stay yet—and I don’t say that lightly. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like being welcomed into a home. The hosts- Mrs and Mr Chatterjee (whom i started calling Auntie and Uncle by the end of the stay) exuded a kind of warmth I’ve honestly never felt before—they weren’t just accommodating, they were genuinely thoughtful in every little detail, going a mile extra with their hospitality specially towards a solo female traveler. The space is even nicer than the photos. The pictures don’t do justice to how serene, beautifully designed, and cozy it really is. Every corner had a little touch of charm, and you could feel the care that went into creating it. The amenities were more than enough—everything I could possibly need and then some. From well-stocked essentials to little extras that made the experience feel luxurious and effortless, it truly felt like a home away from home. 10/10 will visit again. Highly recommend

Best place to spend time with yourself

A truly magical stay! The location is unbeatable—nestled deep in nature with views that are simply out of this world. The sunset cottages are private, peaceful, and the perfect place to disconnect. Wi-Fi is available only in the common area, which honestly enhanced the experience for me—it was refreshing to unplug and just be. The hosts, especially Yudish, were amazing. His evening guitar sessions by the bonfire created such a cozy and memorable vibe. The resident pets—Casper, Julie, and Hachi—add so much charm to the place. The weather was perfect during our stay, and the view is something photos can’t capture—it has to be felt. The kitchen is accessible for self-cooking, and they also offer simple home-cooked meals. Do note that options are limited, but the food is wholesome. The team was kind and responsive—offering us a heater and kettle when it got chilly. Just ask for what you need, and they’ll gladly help. I am definitely coming back to my little slice of heaven.

I loved my stay at White Tara Retreat at Dharkot. What a peaceful and pristine place was it, the perfect place to rewind and let go of all the stress that comes with city living. The mountains all around and non stop chirping of birds is such a welcome break. Kamal took good care of me, took me around to couple of scenic spots, cooked wonderful homely food. And Anjali was always prompt with instructions and coordinated and made sure i was comfortable even when i arrived earlier than their checkin time. I am glad i choose this place for my first solo trip.

It was a wonderful experience staying in such a peaceful area, surrounded by beautiful greenery and a serene environment. All the amenities were provided, ensuring a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature and is seeking a tranquil escape.

This is a 1.2km trek up the mountain. So please make yourself ready for a workout but everything is really worth when you reach Jitu's Place. The peaceful and beautiful surroundings delicious food prepared by Jitu's wife SEEMA and his niece AANCHAL & his welcoming parents we were really overwhelmed and felt very homely. If you really want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and want to cut off completely this is a place to be and i definitely look forward to stay for a longer period next time. Jitu is a great person and takes all the care to make you comfortable. The Burans Juice prepared by him is exceptionally refreshing do have it. In short its a great place where you have to do nothing just explore the surroundings and get yourself immersed in Nature's beauty
