Enjoy quiet days in a cosy cabin with a lovely fireplace, a new wood-fired sauna and an outdoor tub (from May to October) that is perfect for relaxing after hiking in the mountains, cross-country skiing or a day on the slopes. The cabin is large, spacious and open-plan. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, by skis and by bike. There is a possibility of hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-groomed ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes).

The kitchen garden or berry picking before breakfast (summer), coffee in bed with the tranquillity of spectacular forest and lake views. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Cozy guest house with 2 bedrooms with double beds. You have to go through the first bedroom to get to the second. Therefore, it is best suited for families or close friends, and it is also possible to set up an extra children's bed in the “library.” There is approx. a 10 minute walk down to the city center with the railway station and the University and 3 km up to Birkebeinerstarten, as well as approx. 3 km to Rena camp. There is also a gazebo/greenhouse on the property that can be used to have your morning coffee or relax with a good book

The cabin has a good standard with a new well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Laundry room and extra toilet in the basement. Great outdoor areas with fire pits.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen bench, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
