Great place to stay for exploring Connemara. Fairly remote and quiet, but shops/restaurants a 15 min drive away. The view of the lake is lovely and John has a couple of picnic benches outside. Perfect place for a bunch of couples or larger families. Everything was as described, would definitely recommend.

We spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage. Everything was perfect. Its location on the edge of Kylemore Lake, 2 steps from Kylemore Abbey and Letterfrack for the ascent of the famous Diamond Hill is really a plus! Thank you Géraldine! We really recommend this beautiful place.

We truly didn’t have enough time to enjoy everything this amazing home has to offer! The views are absolutely breathtaking — sheep grazing just outside the windows, with a stunning mountain backdrop that feels straight out of a storybook. Killary Fjord and Clifden are close by and make for a perfect day trip, offering spectacular scenery and excellent food. The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and stocked with every amenity you could need for a comfortable stay. Margaret was incredibly kind and helpful! We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Amazing place. We had a reunion of friends and family stay for three nights and it was a dream. Outdoor fire pit area was a highlight, kayaking on the fjord, wild swimming by the sauna, and the bedrooms were super comfortable and had ample space for everyone. Thanks for having us. Tom
