Cottage holiday rentals in Dereham

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

Lovely few days staying in South Creake. I visit Norfolk often for the beautiful scenery, villages and coast and this stay did not disappoint. A quintessential cottage in a quiet village but spacious and modern enough for 4 of us. We loved the hot tub too! About 20 mins drive from Wells and Brancaster beaches, lovely restaurants such as The White Horse at Brancaster. Clean and well equipped stylish cobbled cottage.

Pips Cottage was a lovely quaint place, based in a location that opened up lots of other opportunities to get out and about around Suffolk. Ringsfield itself is a sleepy place, with just a pub for leisure time. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, but accessible enough to other areas. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything you needed for a few days away. Would highly recommend.

We went for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The hot tub and Sauna was just lovely and very relaxing. Lovely cottage perfect for 4 people. The host was very responsive and recommended a fabulous restaurant nearby. I would advise to come to Diss by car as the cab service was not great so had difficulty getting about. You have to book cabs in advance. Overall it was Great weekend

We had a most enjoyable stay of 4 nights at The Cart Lodge. Very comfortable for us four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed heading out for part of the day, then returning to sit in the cosy private garden and a spell in the enticing hot tub. Little touches such as having toilet roll provided and bathroom products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - was a thoughtful gesture. It was nice in the evening to chill on the comfy sofas with a bit of TV time, before retiring to our comfy beds. The cottage provided all we needed in a beautiful convenient setting for our short break away in Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area.

We always stay here when visiting north Norfolk. Love little cottage with everything you need.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely, peaceful stay I had a great stay at 7 Moor Lane. The cottage was clean, cosy, and had a beautiful back garden – perfect for relaxing. Fresh flowers on the dining table were a lovely touch, and the host was welcoming and helpful throughout. There are nearby spots for fresh eggs and honey, which added to the charm. I even left something behind, and the host kindly posted it back to me. A thoughtful and peaceful countryside retreat – highly recommend!

I know Castle Acre well and was delighted to find this cottage in exactly the location we were looking for. A short walk between cottage and pub! There is a village shop, an epic fish and chip shop and dog walks from the door. The cottage was well equipped with new appliances and it was both warm and comfortable. I will definitely book again. Having Autistic children makes holidays very difficult for us, but this was the best holiday we’ve had! The pool was by far the best bit, we spent hours in it everyday. It was warm and very clean. The cottage was cozy and had everything you needed. Great location, so much to do within a short drive and lovely beaches. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Andy and Fi xx

Had a great stay at Kristina’s. The cottage was spotless and the bedrooms smelt amazing (lovely clean linen). Great location for us, as we had a car, and it was very peaceful. Would have liked direct access to the garden as I had to bring my dog into the garden area on her lead, but not a deal breaker. Appreciated the fans as the weekend was very warm.

Really clean and Beautiful. We had a really lovely weekend with our doggie seaside lots of walks. Black boys pub was great food and an easy walk too. Would highly recommend to anyone else thanks:))

We had a great stay :) We love Suffolk and this was a great location for a few days of rest. The lido was so much fun for our 11 year old. Georgies place was perfect and just what we needed. Thank you :)

We had a fantastic time in North Norfolk and Zoe & Toby’s home was a joy to come back to each night after a day of sightseeing. We had a child of 5 years and a toddler 15 months. They both loved the house, especially the toddler who loves going up stairs. We were made aware of the fire place and steps so knew it would be a minor inconvenience with the baby but that was fine considering all the pros of the property.

Midge and her husband were the perfect hosts and we were delighted with our beautiful cottage. It was spotless, had all the amenities and was in an ideal spot to drive to popular sights or for a cosy night in. our huge thanks to Midge who kindly baked a delicious cake for my wife's birthday which was very touching. Thanks again!

We have just had a long weekend at Diane and Colin's cottage and it was wonderful. The setting is beautiful; rural, quiet and peaceful, but also close to amenities and the coast. Inside the cottage is just perfect for a getaway with very warm and welcoming decor and furnishings; a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. Diane and Colin are the perfect hosts, they have thought of everything, nothing was too much trouble and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. We thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to be back again ourselves. Thanks for a great few days Diane and Colin (and of course Merlin 🐕).

Cosy, traditional cottage with a very helpful host who provided a lovely cream tea for our arrival. 10 min walk to a quiet and peaceful beach. Found a charger for the car 2 mins away. No real shop in the village so come prepared. Overall, a great few days in a very peaceful location.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The communication prior to our stay was great and also received photos to help us find the cottage on the day which was very helpful. The peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing break and we managed to make the most of the area despite the weather. Hope to book again in the future to explore more, thank you!

Had a fabulous few days at Shrimp Cottage.Exactly what we wanted whilst visiting the area.Really peaceful and relaxing,made a great base.We’d highly recommend the local pub ‘The Red Lion’ and pay a visit to ‘Stiffkey Village Store’😊Victoria was a great host and was on hand if needed.Thank you👌

Lovely couple of nights at this gorgeous cottage. Beautifully decorated, clean and had all the amenities we needed, including lots of toys and Lego that our kids loved. Really comfortable beds, and enjoyed a log fire on a chilly evening. Katy was very responsive when we needed her help. Overall we had a great stay and would come back again.

Tiggy was a great host and was warm and welcoming. Gave us lots of information of the local area and places to visit and best restaurants to eat at. The accomdation was first class and any minor issues were cleared very quickly by Tiggy. We hope to return and continue to explore the area.

Old Beans is a perfect spot if you are looking for something peaceful and tranquil. The only disturbance was a beautiful Song Thrush singing it's heart out. The Swifts and Swallows put on a stunning display in the evening as well as the Barn Owl hunting in the field below the property. Thanks to Martin and Chrissie
