n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

A very pretty, fully renovated, single-storey house of 145 m2 with a 400 m2 enclosed courtyard in the troglodyte village of Rochemenier. It consists of a fully equipped kitchen overlooking the living room and a 40 m2 living area with large bay windows. On the right side of the house, you will find a master bedroom with a shower room and toilet, and on the left side, a toilet, a shower room and 3 double bedrooms. Wood-burning stove. Barbecue, garden furniture and children's games. 2 cars.
