Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Demerara-Mahaica

This airbnb was recommended by a friend and we really enjoyed our stay. Very tidy and lovely apartment that is equipped with everything you need including ac. Good beds, nice kitchen and bathroom and it's very secure. Dero and Seema are great hosts, very friendly and helpful, and Seema is right next door. It's a convenient location with a nice supermarket below, great food/snack cart in front of the building, and the Mon Repos market just a few minutes away. Thank you for a great stay!

Great choice for Georgetown. Very close to Marriott and Chang’s restaurant for meals. We stayed three nights. There is a problem with most windows with broken handles and poorly fitting frames prevent opening , one internal door links to another apartment’s bathroom which felt strange when it was being used but neither unduly affected our stay. As stated in description no hot water in bathroom but can use kettle to provide for washing etc.

Sabita’s place was a delight - better than the photos. The rooms are spacious and have their own bathrooms. Each room has an iron, ironing board and blow dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need - dishes, cups and cutlery; also basic cooking supplies and lots of appliances. Sabita was kind enough to provide water, fruits and some crackers when we arrived. The apartment is conveniently located - close enough to Georgetown and to the East Coast. Gift land Mall is very close and Movietown Mall is closeby also. The place is very secure so we felt safe. Sabita met us when we arrived to show us around and wanted to do a walk through when we left. We were sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye as Sabita is a very nice and easy going person. She was very easy to contact and checked in regularly. There were a few friendly street dogs around. Please feed them if you can.

As someone who has stayed at many Airbnbs, this house was memorable. You walk through the front door and right away the energy is just perfect. My family and I had a great stay. The house is very spacious and CLEAN— we felt comfortable and right at home. The house has all the essentials amenities including washer and dryer. The kitchen also has everything you need if you plan on cooking. The beds are comfortable and are in huge rooms; two of the rooms have en suites. Even the yard is a great space to relax if you want to catch some breeze. The location is a short drive from the heart of GT. There’s a supermarket a hop and a skip away. Yvonne was very QUICK to respond when I had questions. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I could go on and on. Overall 10 out of 10. I would stay here again and would recommend to others. It was an ideal accommodation for our group of 7 adults and 2 kiddos.

Anna was great . This air b n b was perfect for a vacation in Georgetown . It’s about a hour away from the Georgetown airport but right next to restaurants , food & the Georgetown party scene . Anna was always on call and avaliable for us . Give this air b n b a 10/10 . Will definetly reccomend and will be staying here again when i come back to Georgetown next year !

I would like to say thank you to my hosts Allister and Kevin for making me feel welcomed during my stay. Kevin was very understanding and accommodating of my early check in, while Allister managed to check in periodically during my stay. This was my second time, but definitely not my last. My home away from home.

Stylish and modern home with a great layout that feels both spacious and functional. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the electric gate added an extra sense of security and convenience. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Geoffrey’s place was very thought out and the surroundings and neighborhood was peaceful and safe. Walkable to Regent Street and Market. It was homey and cozy, We loved it, we enjoyed having our friends and family visit while in Guyana- They also loved the home, great job Geoffrey! Your place is lovely.

The apartment is as described. It's very spacious, in a secure compound, close to public transport and within walking distance to downtown Georgetown. I felt very comfortable and safe staying in this apartment. Kevis was very responsive and helpful. I arrived in the wee hours of the moring and could not find the apartment! Kevis kindly came and took me to the apartment. He also responded promptly to some issues I had encountered in the apartment. There is a nice big flat screen smart TV screen, but it is not connected to an aerial or cable, so no access to TV channels, only YouTube. I would stay here again.

A very comfortable stay with all necessary amenities readily available. Host was also quick to respond and assist whenever contacted. Love that there was a keypad entry opposed to having to keep a key all the while. Definitely recommended !

I love the area, sunny and sweetie. Restaurant was very tasty. I got to visit the market, which was right across the street. It was also a bar next-door so I didn’t have to go far just to hear some music and have some shots.

Clean, homely and great value for the money. Yonette was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

An Exceptional Stay – Above and Beyond Expectations! From the moment we booked, Gail and her husband were incredibly polite, friendly, and communicative. They kept us informed with helpful updates and were quick to respond whenever we had a question, which really put us at ease. The home itself was spotless, tidy, and clearly well looked after — everything was so thoughtfully organized and put together. It felt welcoming and comfortable right away. What really stood out were the little touches that made a big difference: snacks waiting for us on arrival and even basic ingredients to whip up a quick bite after our late flight , such a thoughtful gesture! Every amenity we could have needed was provided, making our stay seamless and stress-free. All in all, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. The attention to detail and genuine care from the hosts made it truly special, would definitely stay again.

Great place … very spacious.. and it was in walking distance to either Markets . Lots to see and do and local transport is just a walk out on the street . I would stay again
