Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Del Monte Forest

We came to Monterey for a wedding and were lucky to stay in this beautiful house for an extended weekend. It’s the cleanest and best-stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is huge and has every gadget or accessory you might need—and it’s stocked with thoughtful extras like popcorn, s'mores supplies and coffee. The 4th bedroom is a little unique, but it worked perfectly for our group. It’s downstairs and isn’t accessible from inside the main house. You reach it by going down the steep driveway and a few stairs. It’s easy to find once you know it’s there, but challenging for someone with mobility issues. I spent about 5 minutes searching the top floor for it before calling the property manager—who was incredibly friendly & responsive. Everything was spotless, and the location is super convenient. We wish we had more time to enjoy the house, but we were busy celebrating with family and friends from around the world. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit Monterey!

We had a fabulous time at the historic Pink House! It’s better than pictured with its historic charm (incredible stained glass windows throughout) and modern comforts - everything we needed including a fully appointed kitchen, super comfortable beds, and a washer and dryer. The neighborhood was quiet and just a very short walk away from many restaurants (we loved Passion Fish), Lover’s Point (we definitely enjoyed watching the otters eat) and the waterfront walk/bike trail. We were there for the Big Sur marathon and it was a great location for that - just 7 minutes from the Monterey Conference Center and downtown Monterey. We loved all of the books detailing the history of the home. Communication was amazing - we’ll definitely stay here again if we’re in the area! Snag this spot if it’s available - you won’t be disappointed.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! Incredibly quiet and so clean! Karin was so easy to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and views were added bonuses and it truly felt like a quiet escape! We absolutely recommend staying here!

One of the nicer Airbnbs we have stayed at. Full of amenities. Lovely garden. Hummingbirds! Good communication. Very close to Monterey and attractions. Check out the sea otters at Otter Point.

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Sean's place. The house is so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the large kitchen; it never felt crowded, even with a few of us in there at once. We also really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was with all the pots, pans, plates, and other essentials we needed. Our kids absolutely adored the pool area! It was beautiful and private, and they had so much fun with the basketball hoop. They also loved watching the hummingbirds at the backyard water fountain and the rabbits hopping around in the garden. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks for hosting us!

Dean’s place was great in terms of location, size and privacy. We’re familiar with pacific grove/monterey area so we knew what we were looking for. The house has (2) bathrooms which is great and appreciated as (1) bathroom abnb in the area are commonplace but with more than 3 people it’s great to have 2. House is located directly across from ocean walking path. You cross street and you are on the water-10 min walk to aquarium, cannery row, 10 min walk the other direction and you’re at lovers point restaurant. 10 min walk to downtown PG for many restaurants. Clean house, would stay there again for sure. Wife and I were there this time with 17yo nephew, 14yo and 12 yo sons. Plenty of space.

Great place to stay - nice walks along the coast and just a few miles from Cannery Row. The place was very clean and has you feeling just like home. Would love to stay again in the future.

Matthew was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The space itself was very clean and in a peaceful location, with some great hiking trails nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is clean and in a quiet area but walkable to stores and restaurants. Loved having 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms and dedicated parking spots. Would definitely stay again.

This spot was great for a weekend getaway! Right at the start of Lighthouse Ave where all the shops and restaurants are located. We were able to walk to the beach as well which was lovely. My partner and I felt extremely safe walking around at night as well. The space was very clean and cozy. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Monterey area. We’ll definitely be back as well:)

We have stayed at many beach hotels and apartments and this may have been the best. Beautiful view of the beach, which is pretty quiet. And you can walk on the beach for a couple of hours in either direction. Also really enjoyed the location in Watsonville, which is the strawberry capital of the US. And nice to have Monterey and Santa Cruz nearby. Communicaiton with Pajaro Dunes was very good and helpful. Look forward to coming back.

I had a wonderful stay, Jeff was so helpful arranging a last-minute trip and was a fantastic host. The studio was very quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed spending time on the patio in the back. It was a great place to spend some time in the Carmel area.

The unit was great and exactly as described - very well appointed, clean, well decorated and in a great neighbourhood. Very convenient to places around Santa Cruz and obviously SC is very central to a lot of nice places to visit - SFO, Carmel, Monterey Bay, Silicon Valley. Check-in was easy, appreciate the convenience of a combination entrance, checkout instructions were not onerous, just common sense. All in all, had a great stay, will gladly stay again in Ben's place next time we are in Santa Cruz

This house was a beautiful and it provides easy access to everything that Pacific Grove and Monterrey had to offer. When you walked into the house, it felt like home. Most importantly, Jane was the perfect host. She is always available to make your stay enjoyable. Everything we needed was there. I love sitting in the living room sofa and enjoying the great views. I loved the outside fire pit for those cold days when you wanted to sit and watch the world go by and to watch the seals sleeping across the street. You could not do any better than this place. Just a fun vacation. Thanks Jane.

Really nice and clean. Barnaby communicated really well. Be aware, this is non-refundable though so be sure before you book. One thing that isn’t mentioned is that it’s on the main stretch and since it’s a tourist spot, weekends are loud. It feels like a party is happening outside while you’re trying to sleep. Don’t expect it to be a sleepy beach town condo. One really nice thing is it’s next to a great coffee shop that serves delicious bagel sandwiches. The bed is lofted and cozy. Everything is super clean and the fireplace at night is perfect.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and well-maintained, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning and added a special touch to the experience. On top of that, the host was outstanding—extremely responsive and genuinely committed to ensuring a great stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate any needs, which made everything seamless. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful spot. Quality home in a beautiful location. Very peaceful beach - great for families. We made a fire on the beach for s'mores. The pool/spa was busy but well maintained.

Great View and Weather!

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

We were up for a wedding in Monterey with 10 adults sharing the house, Nick's place was perfect for what we needed and the location/views are amazing. The decor is a little dated but the functionally was there, Nick communicates really well and I think you'll enjoy the serenity of his house.

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The host was responsive and easy to work with, and the resort itself is stunning—perched above the water with incredible views. The home was spotless inside and out, and everything worked exactly as it should. We honestly wished we didn’t have to leave. It was the perfect place for us to escape the grind of unending obligations and just relax. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like; if we had one small wish, it would be for all three TVs to be smart TVs. We’ll definitely be booking this same place again the next time we’re in the area.

Great home with gorgeous views of the redwoods!! We were all confused as to why there was no dish soap or trash bags to use, but it had everything else!!
