This place was exactly what my family needed for our beach getaway! The layout of the house is so cozy and it felt like a home away from home. The 180’ of ocean views was truly amazing. We watched a pod of humpback whales go back and forth throughout the day and got to watch a feeding frenzy of thousands of birds all from the balcony! We drove 20 minutes to Henry Cowell Redwoods State park and walked around Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz. From the spot we walked to the beach (with all our boogie boards, sand toys, towels, umbrella, etc.), took advantage of Venus’ happy hour and really didn’t need to use our car for two days! This will definitely be a spot we stay at again!

A wonderful and peaceful stay! We loved the serene location and the thoughtful amenities — a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Sean's place. The house is so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the large kitchen; it never felt crowded, even with a few of us in there at once. We also really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was with all the pots, pans, plates, and other essentials we needed. Our kids absolutely adored the pool area! It was beautiful and private, and they had so much fun with the basketball hoop. They also loved watching the hummingbirds at the backyard water fountain and the rabbits hopping around in the garden. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks for hosting us!

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

We were in town for a weekend of trail racing and Valentina's place was perfect. It was less than a mile from our event at Toro Park and on a nice, quiet street. The place was very comfortable and the outdoor area was excellent for recovery and relaxing on Saturday. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for 5 of us. Valentina was very responsive throughout the entire process, I really appreciated her. Great place to stay!

It was beautiful, private, and a hidden gem! We had lots of fun and enjoyed all the views throughout the house. The house is even better than the pictures. We had our 2 boys, had plenty to do between the beach, books, basketball, spa, ping pong, and games! We definitely recommend and would go back! Not to mention I love artichokes and this house is located in artichoke city!! So amazing!! 10/10 you won’t be disappointed!

House was pristine and perfect size for the three of us. Lovely back deck. She had everything we needed. Easy drives to whatever you need.

Amazing views and a peaceful location—waking up to the ocean and wildlife was unforgettable. This was our hub for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. A short 30-40 minute drive to Big Sur for hikes, and just 10 mins to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for great dinners. There’s also a handy general store at the bottom of the hill. A couple of notes: This is one of 4 units on the property. While listed as “entire home,” there’s a unit attached at the rear with a door that opens directly into your space through a hallway (for my wife’s peace of mind, we kept our bedroom door locked at night). Another unit is above, and one more is detached in front. That said, everyone keeps to themselves, and interaction is minimal besides maneuvering past their parked cars in the driveway. Also, screenshot the address and key code—cell service drops near the hill and the turnoff into the property is easy to miss in the dark the first time around. Thanks for hosting us, Emily & Mason! Wonderful home with cozy, warm, and elegant vibes. Everything felt very high quality and we appreciated the attention to detail as well as the beautiful landscaping perfect for relaxing while traveling! Carmel Coast estate and Marco were amazing! Super friendly and easy communication, making the whole process smooth for us. The neighborhood is conveniently close to the 17 mile drive, Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea, and Monterey. I stayed at this Airbnb for a single night and overall had a positive experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While the price was on the higher side, it’s understandable given its excellent proximity to the Pacific Grove coast—just a short walk away, which made for a beautiful and convenient stay. Perfect spot if you’re looking to explore the area and enjoy the coastal scenery. Great location, decent amenities, and a smooth check-in process. Would consider staying again for a longer trip! Excellent location to use as a base for exploring the Monterey area. The space is clean, modern and cozy. Patio space was an amazing benefit for late afternoon sunning/reading.

We had such a lovely stay here! The home is beautiful, and our kiddos (2 yo and 4 yo) just love it here as well. We had so much fun eating family dinners on the patio outside, and we also loved watching the sunsets (and the fog roll in) on the front deck. We try to come out to Carmel once a year and this is our second time staying at Holly’s home. We look forward to staying here again for our next trip!

We loved our stay in this cute house! The yard was a dream! Peaceful and beautiful but only a 10-12 min walk to downtown. The house was stocked, clean and comfy. We had a family of 4 and it was a little tight but we made it work. We'd definitely recommend this home!

We had and AMAZING stay at Chi-Ping's Airbnb! Her place was spotlessly clean, beautifully updated, and incredibly well-furnished - it was even better than the pictures!! We were so impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was with all the necessary items and an abundance of SNACKS! I've never been to an Airbnb with a complimentary snack basket which was such a thoughtful touch and amazing surprise. Throughout our visit, Chi-Ping was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had, and she was even able to accommodate an early check-in, making everything seamless. We also appreciated the ample parking available. The house itself was so nice and contributed to a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. We highly recommend Chi-Ping's Airbnb!!

Lovely, cozy, artisticly designed 6 person home with vibrant atmosphere. Clean, relaxing jacuzzi which required 2 people to remove and replace cover to use. We especially appreciated the food, snacks, and beverages provided by host.

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! In fact, my husband loved it so much that he joked that we should consider getting a place in Carmel Valley one day, just like this one! The house itself is beautifully laid out, well appointed, and impeccably designed. The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning. We brought our little one with us, and there were so many toys and books and a dedicated kids room to keep her entertained! Location was great as well - downtown was only a few minutes drive away, with access to cute wine tasting rooms and restaurants. Overall, we loved this place and would absolutely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay: the home is clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five of us in the three bedrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances and tools you’d need to cook and enjoy a meal in the kitchen or outside in the backyard. Access to the community and house was easy.

Eric was an amazing host. He responded to all questions within minutes. The location was perfect. A quick drive to downtown Carmel, restaurants, beaches and the aquarium. The adults and two grandkids all had a great time. The sauna was also a great touch and used everyday.

The home is so beautiful and had everything we needed to cook at home. Very walkable to downtown and in close proximity to Big Sur and Monterey to do little day trips there also. Ben and Julie were great hosts and left my fiancé and I flowers and chocolates on Easter and gave us great recommendations on what to do in the area. All around fantastic house, fantastic people, and a fantastic town to visit.
