Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Del Mar

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Marianna's place. The studio was quite, clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable. Marianna made me feel very welcomed - there were Keurig pods, teas, and a little box of chocolates awaiting me. There was a large pepper tree right outside the window where I sat in the mornings and I enjoyed listening to the birds singing. The studio is just a 5 minute drive to a public beach and there's a large shopping center close by as well. Marianna was very responsive and attentive to all of my inquiries/needs. I will definitely stay there again.

This house was as charming as the pictures suggested. Very private, lovely decor, comfy beds and furniture. The garden was a pleasant surprise and all enclosed which was helpful with dogs. Walk to the village or the beach in 10- 15 min. We would love to stay again. Recommend ear plugs if you go to bed on the early side because the trains run nearby past 11 pm.

It was absolutely charming. We enjoyed our short stay, only regret was not having more time to enjoy it more. Beds and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of thick towels and beach towels. My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft. We were 20 minutes away from Sea World minutes from great parks for the boys. The owner was wonderful. Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

We had a wonderful stay at this kid-friendly Airbnb! The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a smooth and fun trip with little ones — beach toys, a stroller, and even outdoor mini golf! It made our park visits and beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The home itself was beautifully decorated and perfectly matched our taste — we honestly joked that we wished we could live there! Every detail added to the comfort and charm of our stay. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating of our needs, and the location was ideal — close to all the San Diego attractions we had planned to visit. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend for families visiting San Diego.

The apartment was very private and quiet with excellent parking and amenities. The bathroom and kitchen are fully renovated and feel new. having a new washer and dryer was extremely nice and the TV works with AirPlay which is great. The garden is a work of art. We saw a rare bird enjoying the miniature tree. Do note that there are no curtains or shades in the bedroom though it is only a small window facing the private pathway and fence.

Very comfortable stay with soothing noise and view of ocean waves. Beds were comfortable and clean with soft linens. Well decorated with a great aesthetic and good function. Plenty of places to sit/gather. Quiet location. Walkable to the beach and restaurants. Great park with ocean views nearby. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the high chair. The instructions were very clear. Good to know: It’s a little bit of a walk from the parking spot to the condo, but there is an elevator. Food delivery drivers will have a hard time finding the location. One of the windows in the second bedroom is very dangerous for young children. They have a plastic pole across it (it is very low and you are on the third floor) but it really doesn’t make it safe to be open at all. Fortunately, there is another window in the room that can be opened. There was plenty of space in the bedroom for a crib. Overall, we had a great stay and would return! The location is great and feels safe.

We had a great stay at Emily's place and highly recommend it. We were traveling as a multigenerational family (5 adults, 1 toddler), and the setup was perfect for our group. We loved the proximity to all our favorite spots in Cardiff and Encinitas, while also being convenient to the 5 for trips into San Diego. It was beautifully remodeled and you can tell they didn't cut corners on the quality or furnishings. We appreciated that it was well stocked (even with some children's toys!) and that it was just as comfortable as being in our own home. Emily is also very accommodating as a host and very detailed in the house manual and instructions. We hope to visit again soon!

Great location and perfect room for two. Had all the amenities we needed. We were only here for one night, therefore not able to enjoy everything the area had to offer. Will definitely try to stay again!

Mimi's Del Mar beach apartment was perfect! It was well appointed, clean and had everything a person required. The location was also perfect, with a short walk to the beach and downtown Del Mar, which offers many great restaurants and shops. Mimi was a great host, with timely and proactive communication. We will definitely return.

The place is super convenient for our La Jolla half marathon event. Super pretty location and lots of restaurants near by to grab food.

Comfortable place, great location. Kai was super helpful, accommodating, and responsive to questions. The bikes were a big plus. Would stay there again.

We had a great stay! The place was peaceful and perfect for two people. It was clean and comfortable. It’s in a great location, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and just a short walk to the beach. Super convenient to both Encinitas and La Jolla, which made exploring the area super easy. A really nice little spot.

We loved our stay! The place was accurately described and clean. There were nice touches throughout the place and Karin's binder of suggestions for food and activities was extremely helpful - she's done all of the work for you. The outside area is really nice and relaxing. We had bad luck with weather (June gloom!) so we were inside more than we wanted to be so it got a little tight especially with doing the dishes.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were always responsive and helpful. The place was clean and well furnished, quiet and functional. Beds were comfortable, however the pillows were too flat and soft. Recommended getting a variety that guests can choose from. The 2 bedrooms were far enough apart for privacy with the living room in between; I liked that. Lovely restaurants within 10 min walk. Strongly recommend Fish 101 for dinner and Pipes for breakfast. Grocery store was well stocked too. Nice walking trail within 10 min walk and beach access too. Overall a lovely stay, I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the two cute patios. I would definately stay again!

This place was definitely worth it, walking distance to the beach and the pool made it a favorite for us. Paul provided lots of fun beach accessories for us to use and the condo was clean and had what you needed. The patio is nice to have breakfast on and though the sliding door was really hard to open/close Paul said they were expecting a new one. It was so nice to have a refreshing outdoor space but just a bummer that due to the landscaping project it was a lil bit loud during the daytime when coming back to recoup but that’s kinda out of anyone’s control. Overall we enjoyed our time and would stay again in the future.

We've just returned from a 3 week stay at this beachfront condo with many happy memories. Kirsty is an amazing host and responded to our many questions within minutes. The condo is exactly as described, bright, clean, comfortably-appointed and with elevated panoramic views of the beach. We spent many afternoons/evenings sitting on the balcony watching the waves, surfers and sunset with easy access to the massive fridge-freezer with "cold refreshments" and ice cream. The complex is well-maintained and the long-term residents take pride picking-up any litter and tidying the communal areas, in advance of the maintenance team. The main pool is heated and quiet, though there are often BBQs in the late afternoon/early evening. The condo is ideally located at the north end of Solano Beach close to the inlet with Del Mar. It's an easy walk to the shops and the Bangkok Bay restaurant, which we also highly recommend, is only one block away. We are looking at dates to return next year :-)

Great place, easy walk to beach or downtown. Ryan’s place is very well stocked with everything you could need. We had a great time!! There was even a Christmas tree up (we were there over Christmas) which made it feel very homey. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Evan's place was a fantastic spot to unwind and reflect. I was dealing with the recent loss of a family member, so this was more than just a getaway for me. The sound of the surf really calmed me, and as a vacation spot it would be difficult to improve on his place. I hope to return when I'm in a more centered frame of mind.

We had an amazing stay here!! Beautiful ocean views, the most wonderful beach nearby in walking distance, and the home was exactly as described. Everything was perfect and felt so luxurious. We cooked every day in the kitchen, and we had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked. We were grateful to have so many towels as we would go to the beach twice a day or more!! We didn’t get to use the pool because we were so busy, but what an added plus to have as an option! The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of spare linens/blankets if needed. The AC was so nice! Bathrooms were stocked and spotless! It was our first time staying somewhere with a washer/dryer in the unit, and now I can’t imagine ever staying somewhere without one!! Getting into the Airbnb and parking in the garage was so easy, and we appreciated Anne checking in on us. This is our favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed at in California, and we hope to be back soon :) we were so impressed!!

Able to walk to coffee every morning and enjoy ocean views from the comfort the living room. Host was very responsive and gave detailed instructions. Really couldn’t ask for anything more from an AirBnB!
