Beachfront holiday rental in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia

Our family had a wonderful time at Villa Esta. It was very spacious & the staff were wonderful, & very helpful. The chef was also very good & made some delicious Sri Lankan meals as well as some light meals when requested. We had a lovely dinner on the beach on our last night. The beach was very clean & my children enjoyed surfing lessons right in front of our villa. We enjoyed visiting some local tourist spots too. The whole experience was above expectations.

Gihan is a great host. His communication was spot on. Booked the place for couple days and had a great time. Everything on here is accurate. Place is very close to the beach and a 10 min drive or tuk tuk ride to the best hotels in colombo. Will stay again in the future and recommend to close friends.

Superb place. Had a great stay here. The hospitality was very warming. The security was excellent as well in the premises. The basic amenities like the grocery store, money exchange, restaurants are just on walking distance. I highly recommend this place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a whole month. First of all we want to say that we feel very grateful to the family because they were always willing to help us in any situation. For example one time we got sick during our trip and the family was always aware of our health and attended us in the best way. They also gave us recommendations on how to move around the area and places that could be interesting to visit. On the other hand we can say that the place is very nice, clean and comfortable. We like to have experiences close to local life and being there allowed us to enjoy quiet days away from the tourist hotspots but not so far as to be able to easily go to interesting places such as different beaches, jungles, temples, among others. The breakfasts were varied and all delicious. Also many nights we decided to pay extra for dinner which we must say was everytime delicious and budget friendly. We can highly recommend it staying here and hope to return soon. Cathy & Philipp

It’s a very nice place to stay. Quiet surroundings, big rooms, place for sitting outside and everything you might need is here. The family lives nearby and is very nice and helpful. The beach is a short walk away. I would highly recommend this place.

Location was good. There was a lot of place and very good kitchen

If I had to describe my stay at this apartment in one word, it would be ‘perfection’. I visited with my mom and an aunt and this apartment was perfect for the three of us. The location was amazing. The interiors were gorgeous. We loved hanging out at the end of each busy day in the cozy living room with the most beautiful views of the lotus tower. As for the facilities: the kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were spacious, the air conditioning worked well and the beds were very comfy. A huge thanks to Roshan. He was always available as the go-to contact person for questions and was very accommodating of all our requests. Nicola was also an amazing host, for always following up with chat messages on Airbnb despite not being around personally. This apartment made our four day stay in Colombo wonderful. I would book this again in a heartbeat on my next trip to the country.

I had a great stay at this apartment! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It’s in a great location—within walking distance to major shopping malls and very easy to get around the area. The host Jay was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always quick to communicate. I also really enjoyed the amenities—the pool and gym were both well-maintained. The building staff were very kind and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

This is the best apartment you can rent if you are looking to stay right next to the gorgeous Mount Lavinia beach. Everything inside apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s a very safe (24/7 security present) and well maintained building with modern amenities. Arfan was very helpful and he made sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible during our stay. Convenient location, a few minutes walking distance you can find multiple supermarkets and lots of great restaurants. I can’t wait to go back there for my next vacation

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

We had a fantastic time at the appartement. The Caretaker as well as Prajot been super helpful and always been reachable for us. The location of the place is perfect starts with going out for food or shopping as well as the fantastic view. We loved being able to use the spacious and clean pool as Colombo gets really hot during the day. Everything has been absolutely great for us and we would surely stay here again.

It is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is located 2 mins of walking distance from the beach. Has a nice view of the beach from the balconies. There were each balcony for bedrooms and for the living room. The roof top infinity pool is my favorite. Can see the sun set and sun rise from the pool. Since our stay was bit long 5 nights, the host provided extra drinking water and toilet paper. The host is very responsive. Had a good time with my family.

This apartment has three rooms all with the majestic Indian ocean view, the lounge and kitchen also has mesmerizing view of the ocean. Clean, spacious and fitted with all the basic needs, this apartment is suitable for families and those who are looking for a home away from home. A perfect holiday home that provides comfort with hygiene and serene environment to soothe the tiring minds during much deserving holidays. The owner Mr. Sunil is also very cooperative and polite person and it was a pure delight dealing with him and staying at his beautiful holiday apartment. Highly recommended. Raj

We stayed at this place for over two weeks. Host Sudaththa and the manager Lakshanee were responsive and ready to help. Our flight arrived after midnight and the drive from airport was slow due to heavy rain. Lakshanee waited for us to let us in and introduce the facilities. They were also happy to accommodate our request to get some groceries for our immediate needs. The pool on the roof is small but very clean and is set in nice surroundings (can see the ocean from the rooftop). A/c units and fans kept us cool and the generator on standby meant there was no power interruption for more than a few seconds. The security guards were alert even after 19 pm and opened the gate for us when we were a little late to get back. Overall the experience was better than anticipated. The kitchen utensil range is limited but if we had asked I believe what we needed would have been provided. We did not because we only needed to make breakfast and tea there.

Very convientent location for takeaway foods, which I enjoyed during my short stay. Also, being next Marine Drive, I enjoyed morning walk.

We arrived late and were let in by the always-helpful 24-hour security. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with sea views and air conditioning. It's very close to the beach and the various restaurants. The rooftop pool is a real asset and a place to relax and watch the sunset after the hustle and bustle of Colombo. The owner kept in touch and was available at all times.

Jerome was very helpful with excellent hospitality. the apartment was really awesome and perfect location for anything you need. Clean and homely place. had a short but good stay there. highly recommend for everyone.

Very nice stay, Gnanapragasam was very responsive and a good host. the flat is big with AC in master bedroom and 2 rooms with single beds. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was pristine.
