Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Deep Creek Lake

Great location - walking distance from Wisp for skiing and tubing (though not easy with gear) and a short drive to the grocery store. This was our second stay at this property and we love how family friendly it is - the kids love the game room and climbing wall and it’s a good setup for multiple families.

Our experience was wonderful. My daughters, S-I-Ls, and grandsons immensely enjoyed the indoor pool, arcade games and multiple large screen TVs, as well as the many recreational activities in the Deep Creek Area. This house was the best provisioned rental either I or my daughters’ families have ever stayed in, especially the kitchen with a full complement of utensils, spices, coffee pods, etc. as well as a S’mores gift basket. There were 13 of us and there was never a crowded moment. We all highly recommend this property for family vacations.

This was an excellent, beautiful place to stay. We all enjoyed our stay very much. I will definitely book another reservation here in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We knew there were neighbors nearby but you could barely see other houses. The road was quiet and the area very peaceful. We enjoyed the walking trail along the lake as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Greg and Pia’s house was absolutely perfect! We’ve stayed at Airbnb’s all across the 50 states and this was the cleanest and most well stocked home we have ever been in! Everything was absolutely spotless. We had the fireplace up and running everyday - it was perfect for our rainy spring stay. It was so cozy! The home is very private and secluded in the woods with an amazing pine lined trail down to the lake access. Our dog absolutely loved being outside and the trail was perfect for our morning walks. Absolutely cozy and perfect. Will definitely stay again!

Beth’s home was a beautiful spot for a girls getaway weekend! Our trip happened to fall on a super snowy weekend, but Beth was super helpful with having a plow come before we arrived to clear the driveway. We spent most of the weekend in the home due to the weather, but we enjoyed every minute of it in this super cozy place that had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is beautiful and very spacious! We went with a group of 7 and everyone loved it. When we had any questions the host was very quick to respond and very kind. They jumped right in to help us with whatever we needed. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again!

This place was excellent a great find. Diane was pleasant she greeted us with a smile and knew me by name. We arrived early and wasn’t a problem. To add to everything she left us some fresh eggs in the refrigerator. One of the cleanest places I ever stay in. Thank you Diane continue to the person God designed you to be and I will definitely be back.

This a great place. The living room is very cozy, and the bedroom has a lot of space. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. This was a very good deal, especially for the price!

Wandas place was great and nice and clean This location is only a short drive to deep creek and surrounding areas. it is very walkable and my dogs enjoyed the nearby trail. Wanda allowed my 2 dogs and was very responsive and let is check in a tad earlier. Wanda put a lot of time into the cute and welcoming decor in the apartment and it was very clean. Thanks for a great stay.

Although we only got to enjoy one evening at Kam’s peaceful cottage, it was well worth the drive. It was so peaceful with the window’s open listening to the birds while we cooked in the kitchen. We hope to come back to enjoy some hiking in the area.

What a beautiful place! So perfectly decorated, so many cute details -- the bird pictures, the little bird pair in the bathroom, the books. The table is placed so that you can watch the birds at the myriad of feeders outside the window and this was just delightful. We have birds in our yard, but we have never been able to see them so closely. I am convinced we made friends with a cardinal pair. ;-) Sadly, due to an abundance of squirrels in our neighborhood, I don't believe that getting feeders is in our immediate future. ;-) A guide to birds was left on the table so we could identify some of the ones we weren't familiar with. Joyce was friendly and proactive from the very start. Their property is just beautiful and it was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable and my husband and I both got excellent sleep. Very near to Cooper's Rock State Park. Highly recommend!

Right in the heart of Meyersdale! We stayed for a few days to attend the Pennsylvania Maple Festival and visit family. We watched the parade from our windows. So convenient! The Car Show the next day was right outside our door. Apartment is located above a shop and is clean, cozy and comfortable. There is a king-sized bed in the Master Bedroom, and the Living Room boasts a large sectional with built-in recliners. Had plenty of extra room to set up a table for crafting. Has a separate Laundry Room —and a nice little sitting area on the Back Porch. Enjoyed cooking in the Kitchen! Has a spacious Dining Room where we hosted a family dinner, played games, and made special memories.

I wish there was an extra star for the Host! Lorena was super helpful, always responded less than 30 minutes, and made us feel welcome into her home. Personal touches say a lot, and she had written us a nice thank you card that was on the table when we arrived. It was also nice that we did not have to run out and get toiletries immediately as they were readily available upon our arrival. Lorena was also upfront with an issue involving the oven, however there was a toaster oven readily available if we so choose. I highly recommend her condo to anyone with a small group of people/small family that plans on staying in the Deep Creek area!

Cozy lodge. Our unit was lovely. We did have one issue, but the beauty of the unit being in a hotel-like lodge was the front desk staff was right there to handle it. Would absolutely recommend.

We loved this property and our condo. The lake was so beautiful and immediately accessible from our balcony. The entire property was beautifully maintained and updated, with all the most charming original touches. The restaurant onsite was convenient and good (Ace’s Run). The other patrons and staff were friendly and for the price it was an incredibly great deal. The only thing that could be improved are the window coverings. The sun rise is directly across from the balcony windows, which is also right where the bed is. The blinds really don’t keep any light out at all, so we were happy to start our days there early, but every day pretty much starts at sunrise with the blinds as they are. But otherwise the condo was truly perfect. Completely cozy and well appointed with convenient features!

Very convenient and located close to all activities

What a lovely place! We would stay here again for being the only adult with four teenage boys. I still had my own quiet space in the basement and we had everything we needed especially being so close to the resort! It was a beautiful, beautiful day we loved everything about it and we are so grateful foryour graciousness.

Very cozy with great amenities! The room was very clean and comfortable. Close to Wisp Ski Resort and some great local restaurants. Plows came to regularly clear out the snow so there was no trouble accessing the parking lot/cars. Highly recommend!
