Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

A lovely spacious house with lots of outdoor space, privacy and opportunities to entertain you with the whole family. Completely refurbished in 2020. In the garden also a lovely hot tub to relax in (optional, 80,- p/weekend), space for sports and games, a green oasis. The Achterhoek is ideal for cycling and many possibilities within 15-30 minutes by car to make beautiful trips, also in Germany. Our changeover day is basically Friday. Please contact us for any different requests.

Despite the fact that many new residential areas have recently been built here, the house is still surrounded by nature. Extensive walks through fields and forests are thus easily possible. By car, you can reach the center of Bocholt within 10 minutes. The highway can also be reached quickly via the B67, so you are in the middle of the Ruhr area within 45 minutes.

The place is close to the city center and Lake Aasee. The university of applied sciences can be reached in 10 minutes by bike and in 5 minutes by car (B67 in the immediate vicinity). A bus stop is very close. The bakery and butcher, as well as the food market, are about 1000 meters away. Our house and the apartment are located in a cul-de-sac. Public parking is available. We have furnished the apartment practically and cozily. Linens and towels are included.

Our beautiful, light-filled attic apartment overlooking the countryside invites you to a short stop or a longer stay in the beautiful town of Bocholt! With her 70 square meters, it has plenty of space for 2 people who like to relax and walk from here in 15 minutes on foot in the city center. We are happy to provide bikes - because nothing works here without the popular "bikes"! The bakery with a small shop is 1 minute walk away. Smoking is prohibited!

The gas station is now unmanned and the former shop has been converted into a charming and comfortable guesthouse. The apartment is family-run and offers a warm atmosphere. In the immediate vicinity there is a snack bar and several shops are within walking distance in about 5 minutes. The city center is also well connected and can be reached within 10-15 minutes by bike or bus. The two single beds in the bedroom can be pushed together to form a bed and in the living room there is a pull-out sofa bed.

We had a great time at Marco and Marie-Helene's. The space was really beautiful and luxurious. We had plenty of space to ourselves and the area is wonderfully quiet. The hosts are very friendly. We were served at our beckons. We would definitely like to come back for a longer stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. Lots of nature in the area. Wild birds and animals. We particularly enjoyed the nature trails which were within walking distance, or just relaxing in the yard watching the horse walk by. We loved it. Thanks Linda for everything.
