Perfect for camping with children. The sanitary facilities are in top condition and also very child-friendly. There is a mega indoor playground. Ponies and goats are very trusting. Simply great. A nice little sandy beach can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Supermarket within walking distance.

Close to Buitenpost is Tanja's Airbnb. It is a detached cottage, where we spent a wonderful night while passing through. It is a nice apartment in the form of a studio. It is unfortunate that living and sleeping area are not separated, especially in the winter .

Together with my mother and sister, we had a pleasant stay. The cottage is in a beautiful garden where we could have our breakfast in the morning. We were kindly received by both the family and all the animals.

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

We visited this beautiful place and we were absolutely thrilled. In the middle of nature with a view of the alpacas, we were able to absolutely enjoy our time there. Many thanks to Bert and Erna. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment was exactly as described – clean, modern and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. We especially liked the quiet garden and the relaxed surroundings - perfect for switching off. Since we had the bikes with us, we were able to do some nice tours. Amsterdam is about 45 minutes away by car. Daniëlla and her family are very nice and we thank them for the warm hospitality.

We spent three days with Yvon's (and her neighbor's) cats in her (or probably their) thoughtfully decorated guest apartment. After a warm welcome from Yvon, we were immediately greeted by the man of the house and one of our new temporary roommates, Dix. He is incredibly trusting from the first minute and made sure to pay us a visit multiple times each day to get his dose of head scratches and belly rubs (if he allows it). The entire place was spotless, we hardly even noticed any cat hair. Same goes for the large bathroom with a nice rain shower. The mini fridge was a useful addition. As if all of that is not enough for the great price we paid (less than any of the hotels around), Yvon prepared a delicious breakfast every morning, including freshly made waffles, coffee and tea. She even went out of her way to ensure we'd get the eggs cooked exactly the way we preferred. Whenever we will make another trip to Noord-Holland, this is absolutely the place we'll consider first.

We were able to enjoy the hospitality at this location for one night. Our goal was only an overnight stay because of the concert in Groningen and our travel time. However, the location is so nice it was unfortunate we couldn't stay longer. Definitely recommended for others to stay there for a few days or a week.

We were visiting relatives and touring in the region and this was the ideal place to stay. It could not have been better - it's quiet and private in a beautiful rural setting with the friendliest hosts we have ever encountered. Thank you Harmen and Marjan!

We (2 adults, 2 children) spent 1 night in Trudy's apartment. Very clear instructions given for parking and entry. Trudy & Jasper respond almost immediately to questions we asked. We have experienced this as very pleasant. Cleanliness is very important to us. The apartment looks clean. Unfortunately, this was not the case under the shower mat. We found mould there. The shower was good, nice and warm and there were plenty of towels available. In addition, there were 4 of us and we had to use the sofa bed. We were aware of this. We had to make the sofa bed ourselves. Which is not a problem in itself. But the blankets we had to use were under the sofa bed and we had the impression that the blankets had been there for a while and did not smell very fresh. The sofa bed slept well, by the way! All in all, it was fine for 1 night.

Everything was the same as in the photos. Very nice hostess and quiet environment. The parking spaces were also directly in front of the accommodation at all times. Everything great!

A beautiful place hidden in the Frisian countryside. Nice reception and the accommodation is as described, nothing to criticize. From here you can easily go in all directions to visit Frisian places or lakes, walk or bike. A day crossing to Ameland or Terschelling is fine and takes little time. Repeatable.

Very nice accommodation, which is nicely quietly located in the countryside. Marcel and Renate were both super nice and the place was as described. You can easily explore the area by bike.

Very quiet at night, very peaceful sleep, excellent coffee, greeted by chickens and a rooster in the morning.

I'm very excited about everything: the space, Wim and Els, the surrounding area and not to forget, the lookout tower! I will definitely come back.

It is truly countryside vibe you get by staying here. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Just keep in mind that there are no supermarkets nearby and without car it would be quite difficult to navigate. Otherwise, you get to feel true Dutch countryside life.

We felt very comfortable! Above all, the large, beautiful terrace was the hit! We will be back!

Our stay can be described in one word: EXCELLENT!!! Maaike is a great host! She is easy to approach, is incredibly hospitable. Her service is more than great! We know one thing for sure, we'd love to come back here again!
