A renovated mid-century retreat designed for comfort, space and ease — well suited to extended stays, mid-week breaks or time to unwind. When it’s time to dine and explore, a three-block walk takes you to the main street. The original 1950s home of much-loved locals Edna and Jack Grant and their five boys. Toast them from your private deck while enjoying town views and the mature garden they planted.

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. The owners of the cottage have an affinity with wombats and a respect for the traditional custodians of the land, so in naming the property they chose to acknowledge both. Wariin is an old miners cottage, circa 1900's, tastefully renovated to make your stay both relaxing and comfortable. It is perfect as a couples retreat or a small family holiday, it is private and pet friendly (small dogs only, larger dogs at owners approval)

Welcome to Granny's Cottage. This is the second building featured on Restoration Australia bringing the former Gervasoni Swiss-Italian buildings on site back to their former glory. This is a heritage listed property has been lovingly restored with beautiful vistas inside and out. The beautiful views from the deck are perfect for a bbq or enjoying the spa.
