Cabin holiday rentals in Daylesford

Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. It's close enough for an easy drive, lovely scenery, and a very comfortable place to stay. Lancefield was the closest town which had all of the the food and restaurant options we could use. The bed was fantastic, and there were extra blankets, towels, and enough cutlery and crockery for a couple of people on a weekend away. We had tea, coffee, and very kindly some fruit and biscuits for us on arrival which made it feel right at home. The property is listed as pet friendly, and it's so well organised for the pup that we had everything at hand that we needed including towels to keep her dry when it was raining outside. The hot tub was great, and although the weather wasn't fantastic, it was lovely to spend the evening in. I could go on, but if you're reading this, and need a short stay away in the country this is the place to be.

A beautiful estate loved the gardens & the cottage was adorable. We enjoyed our night with our dog who felt like a king! We will recommend and if we are in the area again will come back for longer! Thank you Sharnie we loved reading about the heritage of Craignair house.

Max’s place was beautiful, peaceful and cozy. It had everything we needed with an amazing view. Max was also super proactive and great at communication. Everything was super clean, and had an aesthetic vibe with lovely decorations. Our dog also loved the little lake! Would definitely recommend :)

We had a lovely time at Hannah’s beautiful treehouse. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a peaceful getaway. The home was gorgeous and Hannah was a great host who provided clear instructions and support throughout the stay.

The host, Yole and David were friendly and they responsed to our questions or requests for help very quickly. The location of the property is near gardens. The property setup is a large bed sitting in a large living room of about 40 square meters. There are a lot of space for two guests of course.

Mush creek hollow was a peaceful getaways. You can stay in the home al day long because of the warm and generous space, or you can walk around in Daylesford city centre in just 6mins drive. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you to Martin who was always kind and responsive!

Had a lovely weekend here! Caroline was a great host, always quick to respond and had good restaurant recommendations. The place was small but cosy and exactly what we needed, and had excellent amenities (breakfast and tea/coffee provided, plenty of towels). Would definitely recommend staying here, and the nearby towns of Gisborne and Kyneton were perfect for a day out.

Claire was an amazing host — welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay. The place was perfect for two people: clean, cozy, and super relaxing. It really felt like the ideal little getaway. There were plenty of things to do nearby, but it was also quiet and peaceful with no disturbance from neighbours. We couldn’t have asked for a better escape!

What a beautiful, peaceful cabin to spend some solitude in. My friend and I loved the peacefulness, the verandah and the closeness to many towns. Check in instructions were clear and felt very comfortable for our stay. Thankyou!
