What an amazing place! From the moment we opened the door and walked through the MASSIVE house to the gorgeous and peaceful canals at the back, we just had the best time with our two teenagers. There was so much for them to do, if they weren’t kayaking, playing pool, watching movies in the theatre room, playing PlayStation (so no withdrawals), arcade games, crabbing, going to the beach, board games, then we would find them relaxing outside! It was a genuinely relaxing holiday for all of us. There was no boredom as heaps to do with so much space. We will no doubt stay again!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Dawesville canals during the Easter and ANZAC break. Melvin’s place is extremely organised with so many complimentary additions to make settling in to watch the dolphins and catch the crabs super easy. Feeling super relaxed and pampered after a week of great local food, adventures and family time.

We took the Grandchildren for a few days and really enjoyed that the house was within walking distance of the beach and the bike tracks along the coast. Very comfortable and the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 children. Lovely sunny areas to sit and have a cuppa or a glass or 2 in the garden.

Astrid’s place exceeded my expectations. The location was spectacular, the accommodation stunning. I was super comfortable during my stay and loved not needing to drive. Walking on the beach every day and hearing the waves crash all night was medicine for my soul. Just blissful.
