Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Damariscotta Lake

We had such a good time! Lots of space, kid friendly, well equipped kitchen, beautiful location by the water. Host communication was great. Hope to stay again sometime!

Amazing place, host was super kind and accommodated my family’s last minute booking since we were cancelled on twice that week! We are super happy we found this adorable beautiful place that ended up being better than the other places would have been anyway!

Enjoyed our stay very much! Lovely location on the water. Some white traffic noise but worth it watching the boats and wildlife! Comfy bed. We slept very well. Well-stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for lots of little day trips. Our only disappointment was the size of the smallest room. It’s very tiny. Great for a child but pretty tight for our adult son. Host was attentive. We will be back!

Perfect weekend retreat for a small family with a young one. Close to downtown, museum, and the firepit was so nice at night. 5 stars all around and will return in the future. Thanks Phillip!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We unexpectedly had beautiful cloudless days most of the week. Great location & easy to get to the Harbor and Southport both of which we enjoyed! Recommend the Carriage House for a really top quality meal as well as Blue Moon Cafe (good lobster roll) which was one of Shirin’s recommendations. Would totally stay here again!!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! The location of this property is unbeatable. Close enough to town, but lakeside down a quiet wooded road. Kids were thoroughly entertained with the outdoors, and my son caught his first fish off the dock to round out a memorable weekend.

We had a great stay. The location was ideal and everything we needed was supplied. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked and very clean. Chelsey was very responsive to any questions and they also dropped off some very thoughtful sweet treats! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. The location is quiet but just a few minutes away from amazing restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Highlights: The bed was super comfortable. The sauna was great on a rainy day. The walkability to the Back Bay trail was appreciated.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Our stay at Kate’s cabin was amazing. The cabin is gorgeous and it’s like a treasure hunt looking at all the artwork around the home! The views are immaculate and there is so much privacy. Kate was so kind and responsive. We really loved our stay and would definitely book again on our next trip to Maine!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! The cabin in Penobscot was exactly what we needed for a quick trip away. Not only was it quiet and peaceful, but the cabin itself was beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and extremely comfortable. We came up to Maine to see Acadia and Bar Harbor, and while they were a bit of a drive away, it was an easy and scenic drive. The cabin is perfect for couples and families alike, and we can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

What an amazing hosts! When i check in they both came and visited and gave me a grand tour of things of the place. Showed where the lake was to kayak, recommended places to eat, and visited. Michael was quick to respond making sure i was doing great. I would totally go back and rent their place again! Thank you so much!

I can't stress enough how incredible this stay was for me, my husband and our pug. The Airbnb was even better in person and exceeded our expectations. The hosts were so gracious and thoughtful -- very considerate of any needs you could have. This is place a must for relaxing in nature. I'd love to come back for sure!

very much worth the money to stay, Farmington is a beautiful town and the cabin is gorgeous with the view onto mill pond.
