We’ve just returned from a fabulous stay in Jo’s glamping pod. It’s so much more than a pod and definitely a luxurious option. Both the main bed and the sofa bed are very comfortable and the linens and towels are of great quality. The kitchen is well-equipped and Jo has thought of everything. I always take a bag with essentials such as a sponge, tea towel, washing up liquid etc, but these weren’t needed. Jo even provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, should you need it. There is a drawer full of ordinance survey maps and guide books for the area and a folder with all the information you need for your stay. Jo is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only does she provide great information about the local area, but she will let you know when the badgers are out feeding. We spent almost every evening glued to the window at the back of the garage, watching a large badger cub eating the peanuts and egg that Jo leaves for them. I had a fantastic stay at this holiday home in Dumfries. Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, the location was both peaceful and scenic—ideal for a relaxing getaway. Surrounded by greenery and fresh air, it truly felt like a retreat into nature while still being close to local attractions and essentials. The property was spotless and very well-maintained. Everything inside was comfortable, from the cozy beds to the thoughtfully furnished living spaces. The amenities were great too, including fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and convenient parking. The host was warm, helpful, and very responsive, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape in Dumfries.

It has been a pleasure to stay in Zan's house. Very comfortable, clean and makes you feel at home. The children loved the horses, chickens and all the animals. It was the perfect spot to recharge our batteries

Perfect stay for us and the dogs. Lovely quiet location despite being right next to the A75, even with the windows open we didn’t get disturbed. Great location for exploring D&G, and not far from Dumfries and the bigger shops if that’s what you like. House was very comfy, clean and had a great kitchen with everything you may need. We would stay here again if we were in the area. Thanks!
