Square Island is a peaceful, rural location adjacent to a small farm. Pembroke town and several outstanding beaches are just a short drive away. We are close to the Coast Path and NCN cycle route 4, local pick up/drop off available on request. The Barn is a converted donkey stable, with traditional lime plaster walls and upcycled timber giving it a rustic feel. The courtyard is gated and secure for pets, perfect for drinks and BBQ in the summer. Solo traveller discount available on request.

The surrounding peninsula is part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Park which offers stunning coastal walks, offshore islands, rare birds, colonies of grey seals and visiting dolphin and porpoise. Beach options (several within walking distance) are endless and unspoilt. There’s every type of water-sport on offer and one of the best pubs in Wales on the doorstep.

Snoozy Bear Cabin- amazing walk to the beach!

Snoozy Bear is a truly unique light, warm and cosy bolthole sitting at the top of the National Trust’s Abermawr woods, it is a beautiful 15 minute walk to the stunning secluded beaches of Abermawr and Aberbach and the famous Melin Tregwynt wooden mill. A quirky converted artists studio, the Cabin has an amazing view through the Beech tree canopy across the valley.- One couple commented that they felt they were in a tree house! Light up the vintage Jotul wood burner and snuggle down!

It has its own slipway, providing direct access to the estuary for beach walks and launching small boats, canoes and paddleboards . The cottage has been recently restored and furnished to a very high standard. It has a new kitchen and new bathrooms, full central heating and a wood-burning stove.
