Secluded Mountain Retreat

SusanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location is beautiful and the house has great charm. The views are wonderful and the cottage is warm and cosy with a great wood burning stove. You can only access with a 4 wheel drive vehicle or walk 300 metres from the parking place up a rugged mountain path. This is difficult with luggage and after dark requires a good torch. The living space is lovely. The bedrooms are open planned and you have to walk through one to access the stairs down to the bathroom. The other bedroom is accessed by a steep set of steps from the kitchen. Head room is limited and there are no window curtains. It is what it says a mountain retreat and wonderful for walking and for families. A bit more difficult for older couples. The hosts were very responsive to any queries

Little Loft: a light and bright studio with a view

CatharineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Little Loft is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views, peace, quiet and parking. A homemade loaf of bread, with butter and milk were great welcoming touches too. The roads are narrow to get to this little haven, this adds to the remote and secret feel of the place (there is a little stream on the property too!)however the roads did take me a little while to get used to. Kate is very good at helping with any queries or issues that might occur.

"Ynys" cottage

A peaceful and private cottage, the property was clean and a pleasure to spend time in. The lovely views of grazing animals, and no Wi-fi made it easy to truly relax. The hosts were friendly and easily contactable. Would recommend.

The studio is beautifully designed and very cosy. Nestled in the valley it is a great spot for walking with amazing views from the hills in every direction. Helen was very friendly, quick to respond to messages and had lots of recommendations and lovely art!

Lovely stay in a beautiful location. Wharfingers Cottage is a delightful house with an amazing history. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Sarah was a great host and couldn’t have been more hospitable.

A totally unique experience. Splendid isolation. A feast for the senses. I don't know how Bryony and Steve have created such a well designed and accessible dwelling in the middle of a field! Sublime. Thank you xx

Luxury Barn Conversion in beautiful countryside

AndreRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful, well presented property in a stunning location. A lot of single track roads to access it. Clear instructions were given as the sat nav struggled with the postcode. A gorgeous chocolate cake and bottle of wine greeted us on arrival. The WiFi was slow and patchy. One of our party WFH struggled.
