“Robert’s place was absolutely spot on. The cottage is in a great location to explore the Brecon Beacons, situated in a quaint village with a welcoming pub at the end of the road. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage has everything you need to cook, relax, listen to music, etc. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, the sounds of the sheep next door and being visited daily by the chickens and geese whilst sitting on the terrace. We would definitely return and would recommend to others.”

“We had the most unforgettable experience and I can’t recommend Richard’s place enough. Everything was thought about in this cabin and came from Richard’s hard work and dedication which we found to be inspiring. Richard and Caroline are so friendly and really wanted to ensure we had the best time. We came here after lockdown and gave us the opportunity to experience the beauty of Wales! It is the perfect location, comfiest bed, a hot tub with a view... the list is endless! I really wouldn’t hesitate to book again and will be telling all of my friends and family!”
Large bedroom on first floor of period townhouse in central Hay. Superking size bed, wooden floors and ensuite shower and WC. Tea and coffee-making facilities provided. The room has a television, wifi and radio. Parking is via the alleyway shown in our photos which isn't suitable for massive vehicles, but to give you an idea, we have a Landrover Freelander 4x4 which is fine with the mirrors tucked in! We can easily direct you to alternative options nearby (including free) if needed.
“Really enjoyed our stay in Hay-on-wye in this room. Plenty of space, big bed, en suite and tea/coffee as well made our stay really relaxing - we enjoyed the Welsh cakes as well! Emma our host was really friendly and made sure we knew where everything was and that she would be there if anything cropped up. The central location meant we could easily walk to the pub to have an evening meal and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast the next morning in the Granary just opposite. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the room and hope we can stay again some day.”
