Hannah's Cottage, Great walks, Log Fire, Book It!

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Our cottage is situated in its original surroundings; the old mining village of Cwmparc. Now reclaimed by nature and with the Bwlch Mountain towering above the area it is a walker's paradise. Walks start straight out of the garden, leading in all directions. With sheep in the fields as companions and strolling along the rambling brook, it is easy to forget that one is actually only a few minutes away from all modern conveniences in Treorchy with shops, bars and restaurants.
