A great base for visiting Edinburgh. Lovely accommodation; peaceful neighbourhood and very easy transport links into the city. Can also highly recommend the Riccarton Inn, within a few minutes walk - great food and drinks selection and the Tuesday night quiz is good fun. Fiona is an excellent host - very responsive, clear communication and very proactive to make sure your stay is a good one. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved the place. Great little place so so cute. Very receptive to questions we had. They left us a bottle of prosecco with glasses, we didn’t have time to enjoy, but it was a wonderful thought. Left little breakfast for us in the mini fridge as well to get us started for the first day. We loved Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend this location your next stay. This is a beautiful peaceful place which is only a 35 to 40 minute bus ride from Edinburgh. It was lovely and quiet. There was walks along the river nearby. Kate was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very nice and had everything you needed

What a beautiful spot! Very quiet. We all slept very well! Wish we could have stayed longer to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. It is a little remote so if you don’t have a car (which we didn’t) may end up being a little expensive going in and out of Edinburgh, but we always got an Uber when we wanted one. Perfect for walkers and cyclists. Wish we had time to explore the area more. We may be back! Thanks, Kerry!
