The Red Rose of the Metairie

Located 7 km from the medieval village of Saint-Cirq Lapopie voted "favorite French Village" for the year 2012 and 30 km from Cahors, the place called "La Metairie Rouge" welcomes you in an ocean of calm and greenery the heart of the regional Natural Park of the Quercy Causse. This is the ideal place to relax, enjoy the pool, observe nature and in the evening, the beautiful starry sky of Lot. This former farm of about 40 acres of woods and meadows in the XIII century. The original buildings have been renovated and converted into five comfortable lodgings and bed and breakfast. Their position at the top of the hill offers a breathtaking view of the surroundings. At the time, le Rosier and Le Vignoble formed a sheepfold. This space was reconstructed, which gives a comfortable cottage for six people. With its terrace on three sides, this cottage offers a wonderful panoramic view, you will also enjoy the barbecue. Three stars assigned in 2011 by the Prefecture of Lot. Description: The ground floor consists of a living room with kitchen (stove / oven, microwave, coffee maker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher), a bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, washing machine) and a double bedroom with panoramic views. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with two beds side by side and one with two single beds and a balcony. The toilets upstairs are equipped with a sink. All rooms have single beds. The cottage is equipped with central heating and a wood stove, it is habitable all year round.
