This home was set up perfectly for an airbnb. There is a lot of care in making sure you are provided with everything you need. All the beds were super comfortable- which is so important! The bathroom and kitchen were stocked with everything you need. The decor is super homey. If I make it back to the Roanoke area, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything !

Another great stay at The Nest. We have been back to this location several times in the last several years. It is extremely close to our family that we can visit them every time we go down! We also are close to the town of Gap Mills and Union in which we visit each time. I can not express enough how amazing The Nest is and how friendly Thomas is when we plan our trips! 10/10 would recommend and 1000% will be staying here again and for the foreseeable future for our trips down!

We had an amazing stay at Dave’s place for my VT graduation. The house is stunning, with every detail thoughtfully considered during the renovation. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I’m now inspired to buy the same couch for my own home. The location is perfect—just a 13-minute drive to downtown Roanoke and 35 minutes to VT. Plus, there's a grocery store nearby for any essentials. Dave was excellent with communication, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the fire pit and were delighted by the deer visitors. Highly recommend!!!

What a beautiful home! Nice private setting yet close to everything! The home was perfect for our family while attending a wedding in Roanoke. The kitchen was well stocked, the home was very clean, multiple bathrooms, lots of space and a very nice backyard to enjoy sitting and cooking. We would highly recommend this home! Thankyou for allowing us to stay!

Randall’s place was perfect for our family who visited us at Christmas. It was exactly as described and Randall was very communicative whenever we had questions.

We really appreciated the clean, clutter, free Airbnb! Our boys absolutely loved the basement! So many games! The back patio looked like a great place to hang out! We didn’t get to use it because it was raining when we were there. This is a house. We would definitely come back too if we needed an Airbnb in the area again.

Jessie is a great host and her home was perfect for the three of us. She checked in on us to make sure all was ok and if we needed anything. She gave us great suggestions on places to eat as well. The home was nicely stocked with all essentials. The backyard is fully fenced so it’s perfect for bringing the pups. We went outside the fence and there was a huge fire pit and a target for axe throwing. We didn’t get to use any of it because the weather didn’t cooperate but would have. The house is right off a pretty busy street in which Jessie leaves ear plugs by the beds (if needed), however to us it wasn’t bad and we found it relaxing. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite Airbnb. Everything is exactly as advertised and, having to stay here twice, I could tell you that it’s one of the better experiences at any overnight accommodation. I highly recommend it and I would go back again and again.

The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Walkable area to some local restaurants. The only issue we had was that the neighbors pounded on the wall late at night and we got a message that we were too loud despite just talking in the living room. We thought we were respecting the quiet hours but be aware the walls are paper thin. The hosts were gracious about it so I still wanted to give 5 stars as the place was perfect otherwise.

I really enjoyed my stay . It’s the perfect location to enjoy the downtown area within walking distance. A classic breakfast sandwich just a few feet away and coffee across the street. It was super clean and comfortable:)

Anthony's place was very clean and welcoming. felt secluded even though was close to everything. was well pleased with our stay. only drawback was we weren't able to control the temperature and the house was 76 degrees too hot for June. Anthony did turn it down some but was still too hot for us . plenty of wildlife if that's your thing, the deer come close enough to almost pet them . I will definitely stay here again it's perfect for just 2 people

Stephen's apartment/loft was a nice, central spot in downtown Roanoke-perfect location for our long-weekend visit. Took grandson to Mill Mountain Zoo, Virginia Transportation Museum, and down to the Historic Market (disappointed in the Market as it is now compared to what it was years back tho). Lots of downtown restaurant options and Blue Ridge Parkway access is not far (via Mill Mountain). Campbell Avenue location was central to where I traveled to visit ancestral homes - easy navigation to/from as it's close to 581. While various business venues observed the nightly noise curfew, most vehicular traffic did not (during the weekend) so future guests might want to be prepared for extra external night noise. The loft/apartment was comfortable and clean, and Stephen's house rules/directions, etc. were clear and easy to follow - he was very responsive to any/all questions/inquiries and we would definitely consider enjoying this location on a future trip to Roanoke.

The appartment is right in the center of Roanoke with everything right on your door step. It's spacious, comfortable and well presented and equipped. I cooked in a lot, made easy by a well equipped kitchen. There's a lovely recliner to relax in, not to mention the bed was super comfortable. All in all it was a definitely a 5 star rental.

Jamie was very responsive and kind!! Enjoyed my stay here, struggled with bug bites from some of the bedding but the stay was really nice overall and was spacious and clean.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Matthew’s place. He’s responsive and above and beyond helpful. The condo is spacious, clean, well-equipped and in a great location if you’re hanging out in the Huddleston, Moneta and Westlake areas of SML. Conveniently located near groceries and other stores and lots of restaurants nearby. You’ll appreciate this place!

This was a nice, clean apartment. My husband and I were floating the Greenbrier River and needed a place to stay. This apartment was located near the river put-in. It’s also very close to restaurants, State Fairgrounds, and downtown Lewisburg. We would DEFINITELY stay here again! Checking in and out was a breeze. Robbie provided great instructions. I highly recommend his properties!

This was a great place to stay for our first time visiting SML! Beautiful views and very comfortable. Only 10 min drive to the grocery store, which is good for this area.

Great couples place with fantastic views! Short drive to restaurants and grocery. We really enjoyed our short stay here and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and we enjoyed coffee in the morning overlooking the lake! We didn’t begin to use all the amenities offered as we were there for other reasons but a free boat slip, grill picnic areas and the pool were definitely inviting.
