Our stay at Rebecca's was perfect from start to finish. There was good communication and the Airbnb was as described. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The Riverview trail, just a 5-minute walk away, is a beautiful walk. The home was not only clean but also well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the cozy living room downstairs where we spent our evenings. Rebecca's hospitality was exceptional, and we were thrilled with every aspect of our stay. Thank you, Rebecca, for making our stay so wonderful. We highly recommend Rebecca's place and would love to stay here again. We are grateful for the wonderful experience.

Evan's home was spacious and a charming and lovely home to stay in. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were private and expansive. Everything was clean and operable. We particularly enjoyed the collection of games and the bedside sound machines. The instructions for getting in and out of the driveway were easily understood, and we found communication was great. The home is conveniently located outside of Roanoke and made for easy access in and out of the area. Would definetly recommend for a family of four-six, and was perfect for us.

My son and I were in town to see a show at the Berglund Center. Brandon’s place was so close to the venue and was the perfect location to stay. It was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, pleasant visit to Roanoke.

Stayed here for my medical school graduation at WVSOM. It was about a 15 minute drive to Lewisburg. The house was beautiful, private, and so cozy! Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in town!

This was a very clean home that was close to interstate to navigate the area.

Almost, Almost Heaven was truly like a little slice of Heaven. The scenery outside is beautiful. Inside is open, clean and very spacious. The hosts have truly thought of everything in all the fine details such as the motion activated night lights and having everything labeled and precise, clear instructions. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a quiet peaceful home away from home.

This was a perfect place to stay for a few days while my husband attended orientation at the medical school. The house was very comfortable and had everything we possibly needed. We were able to cook, but were also very close to all the local restaurants. I recommend to anyone looking to visit Lewisburg, or needing a short-term stay.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

This Airbnb is in an absolutely stunning location. We stayed here for my daughter‘s graduation from Virginia Tech and it’s a 30 minute drive from campus. It is down some windy mountain roads, but the views are spectacular. The apartment is exactly as described; everything was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this apartment.The host was super responsive and if we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Keeping it Real! The condo was comfortable and clean and with a gorgeous lake front view. We had an extra request upon checking in and Reginald was very accommodating. I would stay again!

Staying at Beau’s place was exactly what I needed to connect with nature and to connect with my partner away from the city away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives! The waterfall and everything around it was truly magical. I felt like I was in a fairytale. The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed. The hiking, kayaking, and cave exploring made this a truly memorable experience and I will be visiting again one day!

Great place, very large, very eclectic and so many outdoor options. Just a few min from trails and restaurants. Hosts were amazing and very communicative.

The house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need and then some! The view was gorgeous and the location was close to the main plaza. We got to enjoy tons of wildlife as we were greeted by many deer families each morning. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the neighbors were all very friendly. Lastly while not really a pro or con, it is worth mentioning for those with mobility or stability issues, that while the slope to the water is much more gentle than other local properties, it is still a little steep of an incline and the rock path can get slick if it rains. Just watch your step and go slow though and you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful lake view from the dock!

The Black Bear camper and Way Up Acres was exactly as described and it was a wonderful place to stay. The camper is clean and cozy and the bed is so comfortable. The check in instructions were clear and the camper lights were left on so it was easy to find. The camper has electricity and a heater and air conditioner. The bathhouse nearby has flush toilets and showers. The farm has so many animals that you can freely visit. A couple of kitties greeted us as soon as we arrived and accompanied us to the camper. The first night there wasn’t anyone else in the nearby cabins/camper so it was very quiet. More guests arrived the second night but the orientation of each camper/cabin still provides privacy and we didn’t feel crowded. The market and food available right nearby were a lovely perk to this property. The owners are responsive and present on site while they are running the show but we still had lots of privacy. The mountains were the cherry on top. We hope to come back one day!

If you are seeing this, just book it! This place is amazing!!! The pictures are great but don't even do it justice. The yurt is truly a work of art yet the whole atmosphere is so comfortable, cozy and tranquil. The amenities listed are enough that you really don't even need to leave the location. But if you do, there is a unique restaurant/general store/mill near by that is so beautiful. They do a have stocked pond and fish food that you can buy to feed the fish! As well as another general store, a grocery store and bakery about 20 mins away. The general store has amazing coffee! There are a few trails near by as well and just driving in the mountains in and of itself is a unique experience. I can't recommend this yurt enough and will definitely be coming back to WV just for it! It should be added to the list of WV landmarks.

The primitive campsite had enough flat space for two tents and an absolutely beautiful view. The cafe was a nice way to end my trip.

Stunning location. The private creek in the lovely weather makes it the ideal relaxing getaway. Would recommend.

We really appreciated the clean, clutter, free Airbnb! Our boys absolutely loved the basement! So many games! The back patio looked like a great place to hang out! We didn’t get to use it because it was raining when we were there. This is a house. We would definitely come back too if we needed an Airbnb in the area again.

Jennifer has really turned her grandparents’ home into a cozy and up-to-date place to stay. It was just as advertized and more. We spent the nights there and hiked on the Appalachian Trail during the day. The town of New Castle has an excellent Italian resturant a couple of blocks away and a tasty bakery even closer. We highly recommend that you consider Fred & Fannie’s Cottage in New Castle.

Christine’s Puma RV was spotless and very comfortable! Her farm and all the animals were delightful and one of the reasons we chose this place:) We enjoyed the peaceful and scenic surroundings!
