Beachfront holiday rental in Cowichan Valley

A great place to relax and rest. the view from the patio over the harbour is so peaceful. The inside space is large and airy. the kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. we would come back again!

Lovely little trailer situated on a peaceful property right beside the water. Loved how quaint my stay was. Comfortable accommodation given its a trailer and it has everything you need. Gifty is a ray of sunshine, she warmly greeted me upon arrival and was very helpful with local suggestions. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay right on the water.

Not only is this home luxurious and immaculate, it is a nourishing step back in time where everything is hand-made, lovingly curated, and generously shared. I can’t recommend this little cottage enough. And if you’re blessed enough to walk the gardens, well…delightful doesn’t even come close. I really recommend this stay for a family or anyone looking to slow down and savour a beautiful time.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

Lori's suite was so lovely - what a location! The guests were quite busy working (the reason for their stay), but they still enjoyed their time in the suite. Fresh baked cookies and a lovely bottle of wine welcomed them. Lori was great at communication and fast to respond to any questions. A great place to stay, definitely value for your money, and wonderful hosts. Thank you!

Our international artists appreciate having clean, comfortable surroundings when they travel, and a place where they can relax off-site from our music festival. They were effusive in their prisse of such nice accommodation. Life can be hard for a touring artists. Had a great stay at Kirsti’s cabin. Check-in was easy. Had everything I needed. Good location close to the water and to town. Linens were clean and soft. No wifi is a bit of a bummer but a decent dvd collection was great for the evenings. Great places to walk my dog!

We had a wonderful stay- the location is gorgeous and the condo was even better than the photos. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. A beautiful place to recharge.

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

The stay at Jason's was peaceful and refreshing. It's a beautiful spot and nice and clean.

Loved staying in this beautiful area. The pool and hot tub right next to the ocean were the cherry on top. Tammy’s place was very clean. Felt cleaner than most hotels we’ve been to. Her instructions were crystal clear and we had zero issues accessing the condo and the amenities. Our only feedback; we were missing our creamer in the morning for our coffee. There’s a chance it was there but we didn’t find it! Other than that, we loved it and highly recommend!

The unit was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was extremely comfortable for three people with a well-appointed kitchen, large dining area, private patio and a lovely view of the water. We enjoyed using the Inn of the Sea's pool, hot tub, and communal barbecues, and watching the sun come up with our coffees down on the dock. Where to begin… the clean, beautiful home, full of everything you need ; the pool and hot tub that we thoroughly enjoyed; the wilderness or the view from the condo… too many wonderful things to list ! Quick response when booking, questions answered with all the information we needed ,much appreciated Denise! We had 4 people in our group, condo had more than enough room for us all. Beautiful and peaceful place by the lake. I could sit at the patio for hours. Mandy's house felt like a home away from home. She was very responsive and left clear instructions of every house zone, which I really appreciate. If you're looking for a tranquility, it's your go to place.

We loved the house and the area. Kurt responded immediately to all out concerns, of which there were many. The area is lovely. We felt very welcome.

We found ourselves in town for a family service and Fiona was the utmost kind and supportive host we could have found. The space was absolutely perfect, spotless, serene, and comfortable. It was exactly as described and made a difficult trip much more easy, especially being by the beautiful ocean. We saw a ton of wildlife so the speed limits are absolutely necessary. Thank you Fiona, we will surely be back in the future.

Just the most amazing place to stay. Wonderfully comfortable and welcoming apartment with an unbelievable view and situation. Gary and Annemarie were the best hosts possible. Breakfast was a gastronomic treat that set us up for each day. Highlights included using the kayaks, sitting in the hot tub but best of all was just relaxing on the deck watching the seals and seabirds literally at our feet. Glorious place to stay.

A beautiful and serene stay at this adorable cottage. Lots of love and care have gone into ensuring a most pleasant stay. Just a short drive from Gagnes village for restaurants and local artisans galore. Host was always responsive when needed. Bed was super comfy and the heated bathroom floor was a delight during the cooler evenings. Would highly recommend this quaint stay!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!
