Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cowes

Me and my friends had a great stay at Victors place! It was super cosy and had everything we needed. We stayed in most of the time and cooked / ate together which we enjoyed a lot. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Overall would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beachside house! The main highlight was definitely the jacuzzi and the beautiful view—such a relaxing combo, especially in the evenings. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and the house itself was clean and cozy. The host communicated well and was very responsive, which made things easy. The only minor issues were figuring out the heater and the TV remotes, but overall, it was a great experience. Would happily stay again and recommend to others!

A beautiful house which really makes the most of the ocean views. We really enjoyed the design of this house with great natural light and versatile spaces. Despite having a very cold snap with the weather, the house was quick to warm and remained warm when the heating was off. Great location with easy car access to Philip Island and surrounds, but otherwise very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in. perfect to chill and unwind. Amazing secure area for the 2 small dogs and heaps for them to explore. inside was fantastic and had everything we needed. Couches and beds are comfy. Bathroom clean. Highly recommend for couples or just a couple. Thanks Howard. So good!

Beautiful place. Nicely decorated. Easy to check in. Fully equipped kitchen. Has a nice Nespresso machine. Heated flooring for toilet. Smeg kettle and knives. Includes Netflix on tv! Backyard has a nice lemon tree filled with lemons. Overall a beautiful place.

This place was amazing! Very easy to find, very quiet. Perfect for if you want to spend your time relaxing. Perfect location, only a short 6 minute drive into town or right outside is a bus stop if you wanted to get public transport into town, really can’t get much better than that. This place was so worth the money, it’s much bigger than what appears in the photos and has everything you could possibly need. Definitely will stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Inglenook, it was cosy, quiet, clean and is close to the beach and main street. Mathijs was kind enough to give us an early check in, communication was great from him. We had a problem starting the gas fire, he straight away sent someone around to look at it, unfortunately it couldn't be rectified but we had the reverse air con on and that kept the place lovely and warm all of our stay. The cottage had all we needed to enjoy our time away.

Tracey’s property was in a great location to allow us to explore all the great wineries in the region. The listing had everything we needed for a great weekend away. Highly recommend!

This home was an absolute gem peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality touches throughout. From the luxurious bed and crisp linens to the plush couch and spotless bathroom, every detail made the stay feel indulgent and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was the water pressure strong enough to actually wash your hair, which is surprisingly rare in most Airbnbs. And unlike many places, there were no leaks or awkward plumbing quirks in the shower just clean, functional design. The host was warm, responsive, and genuinely accommodating, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. This place is a perfect escape for couples looking to unwind in comfort and style. I’ll absolutely be coming back 5 stars, hands down.

Max was responsive, friendly and a fantastic host. The Boat House is quaint get eclectic at the same time with charming character. Quiet location, easily drivable to Cowes and some fantastic local walks nearby too! Would certainly stay again

We were after a place that was quiet with a bit of luxury and we had both with this beautiful accommodation within walking distance from the water. The property was super clean and had everything we needed including fresh bread, milk, bacon and eggs. Located perfectly away from the hustle of Cowes and more populated areas yet close enough to visit all areas of the Island within minutes. We even had visits from the local possums and wallaby. We did have a bit of trouble connecting to Netflix and it stopping but when we mentioned it Max had already organised for this to be looked at seeing it was meant to of been fixed a couple of weeks earlier. Still loved this place.

It was a last minute getaway and was just perfect. Exactly what we wanted and expected. Cold enough evenings to make the most of a fabulous fireplace. Lovely open space. Perfectly equipped kitchen and walkable distance to shops and beach. It was also a perfect secure home to bring our dog.

The accomodation was fantastic. Had everything we needed, plus extras, like tennis rackets, games, etc. Communication was extremely quick and things were fixed immediately. in a nice, quiet location of the resort. Would definitely go back there if travelling to Philip island.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great private little home, nice spa, a few things didn’t work here and there but nothing major. Even had free Netflix on tv. 2-3 min drive to shops. Overall really great stay.

I had an amazing stay at Annie's place. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips and quick responses to any questions. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Philip Island.

Polperro’s villas are so beautiful with incredible views of the vineyards. Loved the wine selection, they all were fantastic. The villa had all the amenities, wine selection, chocolates, mini bar, breakfast options. Inside was supper clean, spacious, too warm to use the fireplace but would have been nice. Sit on the deck with a glass of wine and admire the view. It was so peaceful.

Such a lovely stay. Lian (host) communication was flawless; it was a last minute getaway and it ran smoothly. Also, I had some questions throughout the visit and he was super attentive and lovely when supporting me. I would definitely recommend, such a lovely warm place to stay close to everything. I’ll definitely come back again.
