State Park Cottage - Quiet Yet Centrally Located

Cottage is in the middle of a 2 1/2 acre wooded lot. It is in the middle of town, but your stay will be quiet and private. The neighborhood park, Solomon Park, is just one block away. Neighborhood is great for a stroll or run. You will be a short car ride from more than a dozen places to eat, grocery stores and shopping. We live on the property, but the cottage is a detached structure. If you need anything at all, we will be close by to provide as much or as little assistance as needed.

This is our house we have been remodeling and use as our own little getaway on date night, it’s far from upscale fancy, but it is cozy and with a soak in the hot tub can even be romantic. I was looking for a relaxing getaway for my wife’s birthday where she could just lounge by the pool. Netty’s Nest definitely fit the bill. The house was clean and the pool was refreshing. The master bed was extremely comfortable and everything was as described. The host was extremely responsive and helpful.

This place is worth EVERY PENNY, and additionally you know that what you spent funds a priceless support-system for families facing extended medical crises. (The location is minutes from Southeast Health hospital.) Don’t miss the guest book! ❤️ Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and homey, and for once, I think the pictures on the listing don’t do the place justice—it’s actually even better in person! Plus, the beds are some of the comfiest I’ve slept on—we pulled up the sheets to see the mattress brand because it fixed the hurt back that my husband arrived with. Huge thank you to Kelly for such a comfy stay while we visited our brand new nephew. ❤️

Quick and easy RV pad or tent camping. Fresh water at site. Very quiet community after the local traffic drops. Will possibly stay here again return road trip.
