We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

If you dreamed of staying in a French farmhouse in the countryside while having all the modern conveniences look no further. There are not enough pictures to do the property justice complete with a lake, ducks, pastures, cows, local old church while being close to all the historic sites you go to Normandy to see. The host is superb. Met us at the door of the property even though she had worked all day as a nationally certified D Day guide. Everything in the house was new, clean, comfortable, and easy to use. The interior is amazing with wooden beams and tastefully decorated keeping with the French country aesthetic. Our stay was great and kept getting better every day as we noticed more and more amazing nuances that really enriched our visit. We could not have imagined a better visit, a better location, or a better host.

We had a great week at this place. The whole place matched the photos, whether it was the interior or the relaxing view of the sea. The bedding is good quality and the accommodation is worth the asking price. The host was discreet throughout the stay (unless we needed her by message), we just met her for the key handover before our departure. She is kind and smiling. We highly recommend this accommodation or we will come back if we have the opportunity to spend time in Normandy.

Small atypical house, well furnished, everything is there to make your stay pleasant. Narrow staircase and shower, may not be suitable for everyone. Close to all amenities and the sea. We spent 2 very pleasant nights with our 3 children. We love Courseulles-sur-Mer for our family getaways. Thanks to Franck for his easy welcome and friendly communication.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. The accommodation is renovated, it was very clean. The view of Juno Beach is magnificent. The accommodation is comfortable and has all the amenities for a great stay. It is close to all services within walking distance. Laetitia is very responsive and always available to answer our questions. Read the instructions carefully regarding the supply of sheets and towels. There is no Wi-Fi but when you are in front of this beach you forget the absence of internet. We highly recommend it and will return if we have the chance. Thanks so much Laetitia ☺️

loved our stay at the 3 matelots. comfortable, clean and welcoming. lots to see and do in the area. JC was on hand if needed but pretty much left us to it. we had a fabulous time and would love to visit again!

Although this is a studio flat the separate areas (kitchen, living/dining room and bedroom) are larger than we expected. We enjoyed oysters from the oyster farm across the street one night and had a fabulous meal at the Michelin starred restaurant across the street. The flat is easy walking distance to Juno beach, and a good base to explore the other DDay beaches. We appreciated that there were some cooking supplies available and we appreciated trying the local cider. We highly recommend the flat.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. Very clean, functional and decorated with taste. It felt like home. The apartment is ideally located in relation to the historical sites to visit in the area. Great value for money. I recommend it without hesitation 😊

Lovely apartment, clean and well decorated, couldn't ask for more really. We went for the 81st DDay celebrations, Perfect location of the beach, war museum and attractions. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. The host was always helpful , would highly recommend this apartment.

The fact that there are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets was very appreciable. Very clean and quiet accommodation apart from the bells from 7 a.m. in the morning because it's just in front of the church😁. We had a good stay because it was close to all the landing events 🥰

nice apartment everything you need. The garden was great in the great weather. The landlady is super nice and always wrote to see if everything was okay. We walked to the sea about 2km if at all, so a great location. The city was very close. We would gladly recommend it. There's nothing to complain about, always happy. Thanks again for everything

We had a great weekend at Frédéric's, the apartment is modern, well laid out, well stocked, nothing was missing! And what about the exceptional location with this balcony and its sea view. All this just a stone's throw from the centre. Frédéric always responded very quickly and was very accommodating. We were greeted by Michel on arrival who was very welcoming. We'll be happy to go back!

A great weekend in a charming studio, with an absolutely magnificent sea view! The place is quiet, relaxing and very well located, perfect for recharging. Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

We had an exceptional stay, the apartment was impeccable, the residence secure and close to the beach and restaurants; Olivier was very attentive and recommended activities in Villers that we really enjoyed. I recommend it without hesitating!

Excellent communication with the host who gives a lot of details about the stay. Beautiful location in the city; sometimes neighborhood noises, these remain within the acceptable. Review the shutter fastening to ensure the apartment, which is at street/sidewalk level, can be completely closed. Easy parking. Well located in relation to the cities to visit. I recommend
