Garden Retreat - Loire Valley

Our 'Garden Retreat' is a tranquil, elegantly furnished cottage overlooking a sunken garden. The accommodation has a bedroom (queen-sized bed), a fully-equipped kitchen, a sitting area with a sleeper-sofa, and a small office mezzanine. The garden is large with multiple places to sit and enjoy the shade or the sun. The Loire River itself is only 150 yards from the flat. Large individuals take note: the shower is a standard 67cm x 67cm. Although we love pets; but we have a one pet only policy.

The Borrowers, 2 bedrooms & pool

The Borrowers is our newly refurbished site. The downstairs consists of a large open plan living with kitchen and lounge, with high ceilings and large natural windows the property is flooded with light. The upstairs consists of a large master bedroom with a superking bed, a second bedroom with double and single bed and finally we have the bathroom with walk-in shower and modern finishes. The borrowers has a private garden for the evenings as well as access to the heated swimming pool.

A renovated attic with its own private garden

Le Grenier des Guissinnières is the former granary of a large farmhouse. Converted into a cottage that combines traditional and contemporary, it is accessed by an independent external staircase that passes above an old bread oven. This cottage has its private garden which leads to a shared pool with "la Vieille Maison" the other cottage on the property (ground floor of the building). The swimming pool is available June to September. Cottage equipped with Velux with blackout blind.

On the grounds of the castle, a tufa farmhouse welcomes you in a flamboyant setting. You are away from the main park, for an intimate stay... with all the magic of a historic estate that hosted Catherine de Medici in the fall of 1565. Here, time slows down: from dawn, deer and pheasants hold the children's breath; your days go peacefully. No screen, no noise — just the essentials: your loved ones and a place that gathers you by the fire.
